Styling Price Table Sub-Headings
When adding price line items to a sales quote price table, you can group price line items under a sub-heading (as shown in the screenshot below). This sub-heading feature is useful to create a logical grouping of price line items.
The Price Table Settings controller controls the styling of the sub-heading text. Price Tables can be styled at a default company level, template level, and per sales quote. To adjust the default style (company level) of your sales quote price table sub-headings, follow the steps below.

To access the Price Tables Settings feature, click on the Configuration menu from the Sales Quote Dashboard, then select the option Price Table Settings, as shown below.

The Price Table Settings tool has two components; the left panel shows a mockup of the price table with some areas that you can click into to make changes, such as data labels, the price table footer, and the sale quote pricing section name; the right panel contains style settings that can be updated by clicking on one of the section headings.
To adjust the settings for the Sub-Headings, click on the heading SUB-HEADING STYLE.
Next, you will see the settings appear (as shown below).
The Style setting assigns the font style to the sub-heading; the values can be Normal or Italics.
The Weight setting assigns the font-weight; the values can be Bold, Normal, or Light.
The Size setting allows you to select the size of the sub-heading text displayed. The Sub-Heading Font Size is measured in pixels. Type a value in the input field; a typical size is somewhere about 14; however, this size setting is very much about your personal preference.
The Content Spacing setting allows you to customise the padding for the sub-heading row.
The Background Style setting by default is set to transparent. To change this, select Single Color from the dropdown option. You will see a colour picker box appear. Click on this to select your preferred background colour.
Like the Background Style, the Text Color Style setting permits you to choose the text colour for your sub-headings by following the same process.
After you have made your changes, click on the Save button (top right of the page)

After you click the Save button, you will see the confirmation message as shown below. Please note that your saved price table setting changes do not affect existing sales quotes until the sales quote is edited (or revised if sent already) and is saved again.

Changing the Price Table Sub-Heading Style in a Sales Quote and Template
If you have the need to adjust the style for price table sub-headings in specific sales quotes, but not at a company-wide level, the process below can be followed in both the template setup and individual sales quotes within the Sales Quote Editor per each price line.
When hovering next to the sub-heading, a pantbrush icon will appear on the right-hand side, as shown below.
Click on this to be able to customise the style for:
- Background Colour
- Font, Text Colour & Size
- Border Colour & Spacing
