You can duplicate or copy/paste entire rows—including any content blocks like text, images, or videos—so you can quickly reuse consistent layouts across your document.
Why would I use it?
This feature helps you maintain design consistency and speeds up document construction by eliminating the need to recreate content blocks from scratch.
How do I duplicate a row?
Generally, you'd hover over the row you want to replicate. Right click to present the context menu, where you select either "Duplicate" or "Copy/Paste" options. The new row appears, ready for editing.
Does the duplicated row retain all content types?
Yes - the duplicated row will include everything within the original row, such as text, images, videos, formatting, and layout structure.
Where will the duplicate appear?
The new, cloned row typically appears directly below the original—allowing you to make adjustments from there.
Is this feature available in all editor versions?
Yes—both the current Edge editor and the legacy Java Edition include support for duplicating or copy/pasting rows.
