Select the target cells
Click on a single cell or click and drag across a range of cells to highlight them. You can also hold the Shift key while selecting individual cells to choose multiple specific areas.

The formatting tools are located in the toolbar directly above the spreadsheet grid.

Find and click the Clear Format icon. This will immediately strip away any bolding, colors, background highlights, or custom borders from the selected cells.

Your data will remain in the cells, but the appearance will return to the system default, allowing for a clean slate to re-format as needed.
