1. Why is Umapped shutting down, and when?
Umapped will discontinue its services on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Users will no longer be able to access the platform or send itineraries after this date. Agencies are encouraged to migrate to an alternative well before then to avoid service disruption.

 

2. What is TravelDocs, and how is it different from Umapped?
TravelDocs is a modern mobile app that delivers enhanced, fully branded itineraries to travellers — available offline and supported by direct integrations with platforms like Sabre, Tramada, Tres CCTE, and PowerSuite. Unlike Umapped, TravelDocs is part of the QuoteCloud ecosystem, offering quoting, enhanced itineraries, and travel document capabilities in one place.

 

3. How long does it take to set up TravelDocs?
Setup typically takes 30 to 40 minutes, and our team can assist you with the configuration to ensure a smooth transition. Most agencies are able to send their first itinerary within an hour of starting, (assuming mid-office or GDS API orders are completed already).

 

4. Is TravelDocs integrated with my existing systems?
Yes — TravelDocs directly supports integrations with:

Tramada

Tres CCTE

PowerSuite

It also supports manually created itineraries and quotes via QuoteCloud’s visual editor.

 

5. Will my travellers need to download an app?
Yes. The TravelDocs mobile app is available for iOS and Android. Travellers simply download the app, enter their booking ID and surname, and instantly access their itinerary — including any documents you’ve attached (e-tickets, vouchers, etc.).

 

6. Can itineraries be viewed offline?
Absolutely. Once the itinerary is loaded in the app, it’s available offline, including all attachments — perfect for international travellers or clients without reliable data access.

 

7. Can I customise the look of the itineraries?
Yes. TravelDocs supports enhanced itinerary styling, including your agency’s branding, colours, logos, and layout preferences — providing a much more polished presentation than traditional GDS outputs or Umapped.

 

8. What types of documents can I include with the itinerary?
You can include PDFs, e-tickets, hotel vouchers, travel insurance documents, and more. These documents appear alongside the itinerary in the app and can be viewed offline by the traveller.

 

9. Does TravelDocs support group or multi-passenger itineraries?
Yes. You can include multiple passengers under one booking reference, and all travellers can access the same shared itinerary using their individual surname and booking ID.

 

10. How much does TravelDocs cost?
TravelDocs is available as part of the QuoteCloud platform. Pricing is competitive and tailored based on your agency size and integration needs. Contact us for a customised quote or demo.

 

11. Can I keep using my current quoting tools?
