Using Column Filters to Find Documents
QuoteCloud’s Document Dashboard includes column filters to help you quickly find specific documents based on criteria such as status, date, or recipient. This guide explains how to apply and clear filters for efficient document searches.
Using Column Filters to Find Documents — FAQ
What are column filters in the QuoteCloud Document Dashboard?
Column filters are controls on the QuoteCloud Document Dashboard that let you narrow the documents list by specific criteria.
Can I use more than one column filter at the same time?
Yes. You can combine filters across multiple columns to narrow results further.
How do I clear column filters to see all documents again?
Use the column filter menu to remove or reset the active criteria, or use any global “clear filters” control if available on your dashboard. Clearing filters returns the Document Dashboard to the full, unfiltered document list.
Why am I not seeing any documents after applying a filter?
If no documents appear after applying a filter, it usually means no items match the selected criteria. Try broadening or removing one or more filters (for example, expand the date range or remove a recipient filter) or clear filters entirely to confirm whether matching documents exist.
Best practices for using column filters efficiently
Start with broad filters (wider date ranges or fewer criteria), then add additional column filters to narrow results. Combine status, recipient, and date filters to locate specific agreements quickly. If results are unexpectedly empty, clear filters and reapply them step by step to identify which criterion is excluding documents.
