Document status filters are dashboard controls in QuoteCloud that let you search and sort documents by their current progress stage (for example Creating, Sent, Approved, or Lost). These filters help you quickly locate quotes, proposals, and other documents in your sales quoting software or proposal software workflow.
You apply status filters from the Document Dashboard in QuoteCloud. The dashboard’s status filter control works across all documents in your workspace so you can run status-based searches for quotes and proposals without opening each document individually.
Open the Document Dashboard, locate the status filter control, select the status or statuses you want to view (e.g., Creating or Sent), and apply the filter. The dashboard will refresh to show only documents that match the selected progress stages—making it fast to find the quote or proposal you need in your quote software or proposal software.
QuoteCloud supports common progress stages such as Creating, Sent, Approved, and Lost. Your organisation may also have additional or customised statuses configured for its workflows—those will appear in the status filter list on the Document Dashboard.
Yes. You can select multiple statuses in the status filter to broaden your search (for example to see both Sent and Approved documents). Selecting a single status will narrow results to that specific stage when you need a focused view.
Yes. Use status filters together with other dashboard filters—such as date range, customer, or document owner—to narrow results further. Combining filters helps you quickly locate the exact quote or proposal within your sales quoting software or quote software environment.
If a status filter returns no results, check that you selected the correct status and broaden the date range or remove other active filters. Also confirm you have the correct workspace and permissions—custom statuses or user-level access settings can affect results. If the problem persists, contact your QuoteCloud administrator for help.
Status filters speed up document management by letting sales teams focus on the right stage of the sales cycle—find draft quotes, track sent proposals, or review approved agreements quickly. This reduces administrative time, improves pipeline visibility, and makes document-driven workflows (including integrations like invoicing) more efficient in your sales quoting software or proposal software stack.
