  1. Add a header to your document for PDF exports.
  2. Use the same process to add or edit a footer.

Open the header editor

Hover over the top area of the page until you see the Edit Header option.

Click Edit Header to start editing the header area.

Choose a content block

From the Content Blocks panel, choose Image, Shape, or Text.

In this example, an Image block is used for the header.

Add the image block

Drag the Image block into the header space.

Then click on the block to upload your image.

Choose an image

Upload your own image or select one from Unsplash.

The selected image will be added to the header area.

Adjust the header image

Resize and reposition the image as needed within the header area.

Make sure it fits cleanly before exporting the document.

Edit the footer if needed

You can follow the same steps to edit the footer.

This tutorial focuses on the header, but the footer works the same way.

Export to PDF

On the left sidebar, click PDF Export.

This opens the PDF exports panel.

Generate a PDF preview

Click the print icon to generate a PDF preview.

Then select the newly created PDF to view it.

Review the exported PDF

Your header image will now appear in the exported PDF.

Check the PDF to make sure the header displays correctly.
