Where is a user’s contact information used?

Updated contact information—such as First Name, Last Name, Job Title, and Mobile or Office Phone—is displayed when documents are shared within the team. For example, it may appear as Document Owner, Created By, or in the Document History Workflow.

Will changing a user’s email or phone number affect their ability to sign in?

No. Once a user is verified, their email cannot be edited. You can update other contact details like phone numbers without affecting their ability to sign in.

Who can edit other users’ contact information?

Only users who have been granted role permissions for User Account Controls (which allows them to create, modify, and delete user accounts) can edit contact information.
