The document editor in QuoteCloud allows you to attach files to individual travel itinerary segments, providing clients with easy access to supporting documents. This guide explains how to upload and manage attachments within your itineraries.
This feature lets you attach supporting files directly to individual travel itinerary segments inside QuoteCloud's Document Editor. Attachments—such as PDFs, images and booking documents—appear with the relevant segment so clients can quickly access vouchers, confirmations and other trip-specific files.
Adding attachments improves the client experience when you deliver quotes or proposals through your sales quoting software or proposal software workflows.
You can add and manage attachments from two places: the Document Editor (using the Travel Itinerary Segment context menu) and the Dashboard Trip Summary. Both locations allow you to upload files directly to each itinerary segment so attachments stay linked to the correct part of the trip.
Open the itinerary in the Document Editor, select the segment you want to enhance, then right‑click the segment to open the context menu and choose the attachment/upload option. Follow the editor’s step‑by‑step flow to select and attach your file. Alternatively, you can add attachments through the Trip Summary in the Dashboard.
QuoteCloud supports common, non‑executable file types such as PDF, JPG/PNG images and standard document formats (for example DOCX). For security reasons executable files are not supported.
Yes. You can attach vouchers, booking confirmations, boarding passes, itineraries, images and other relevant client documents to individual itinerary segments so each client receives the exact supporting documents they need for that portion of their trip.
Yes. Attachments linked to itinerary segments are accessible to clients through the QuoteCloud document viewer and the TravelDocs mobile app (iOS and Android) when their itinerary is synced. This lets clients view or download vouchers and confirmations while on the go.
Open the itinerary in the Document Editor or go to the Dashboard Trip Summary, select the target segment, then use the segment’s attachment controls (via right‑click/context menu) to view, replace or delete files. Changes update the client‑facing itinerary immediately.
Attachments remain linked to the itinerary segments when you share itineraries, quotes or proposals from QuoteCloud, so clients receive the supporting files alongside the booking details. QuoteCloud blocks executable files for safety and stores attachments with the document so they are delivered only to authorized recipients—helping maintain security across your sales quoting software and proposal software workflows.
