How to Assign a Cost (Purchase Price) to an Adhoc Line Item

When producing a sales quote, if you need to assign a cost to your product or service, this can be done by Adding a Product to your Product Catalogie, but you can also do this on an adhoc basis within the Sales Quote Editor. Follow the below steps to do so:

When in the Sales Quote Editor, double-click on the cost that you need to change (it will be highlighted in blue to show it is active), as shown below.

Simply type in the new cost amount and click anywhere on the screen to exit the field. The totals will automatically be adjusted to this new price.

Continue this process for any other product items that need the cost altered.
