Grouping Price Line Items and Summarising (Hiding) up to a Subheading
This guide will help you learn how to group price line items and summarize (hide) them under a subheading in QuoteCloud. Understanding this feature helps you organize and simplify complex price tables, making your documents more readable and focused by consolidating related items
Once all line items have been correctly inserted into the Price Table, you can manage which Sections to create Subtotals for and which Sections to Summarise.
Creating a Group Subtotal in your Pricing Table
Right click on one of the Pricing Rows to create a header. Scroll down the pop up menu and select Insert Header Above.
Double click on the Group Header Title Name and insert the desired title name.
Right click on the Group Header Title. Scroll down the pop up menu and select Section Header Options, then select Show Group Subtotal.
In both Edit and Review mode the Group Subtotal is now visible
Summarising up to a Subheading in your Pricing Table
Right click on the Group Header Title. Scroll down the pop up menu and select Section Header Options, then select Show Group Summarised.
In Edit mode, grey hatching indicates the rows will be Summarised in Review mode.
In Review mode the rows are Summarised (hidden) and the Group Subtotal is visible.
