Setting a Repeating Cost in a Sales Quote Price Table
This guide will help you learn how to set a repeating cost in a sales quote price table in QuoteCloud. Understanding this feature allows you to automatically apply recurring costs, ensuring accurate and consistent pricing for ongoing services or products.
As part of the Pricing Table functionality you Set up Repeating Costs. Certain types of sales quotes need to have a repeating cost as a line item, for example, services that have monthly charges over a set duration.
In the Pricing Table Header right click on the Qantity column title. Scroll down the dropdown menu and select Insert Column to the Right. In the next drop down menu select Term.

The new column Term is now visible. In each line item row the Number and Duration of the Repeat Cost is vsible. These can both be altered.
To alter the Number and Duration of the Repeat Cost, right click on the Term column title. Scroll down the dropdown menu and select Column Settings. A menu called Term Column Settings will appear on the right handsie of the page. Click on the option Period Label.
In the Period Label drop down menu choose the repeat duration. In this instance 'Year' has been selected.
The updated Repeat Duration is now visible, in this instance 'Year' has been selected. The Number / Frequency of the Repeat Cost can be updated directly in each line item row.
There is also the possibility to set a Line Item to be a One-off Cost rather than a Repeat Cost. This then provides users both options within the Pricing Table.Â
Right click on the Line Item whcih requires a One-off Cost. Scroll down the dropdown menu and select Row Options. In the next drop down menu select One-off Row.
In Review mode the updated Pricing Table is visible
