What is an E-Signature Block?

An E-Signature block in QuoteCloud is a dedicated section placed in your document that lets recipients sign electronically. It provides a clearly defined area where a signer can apply their electronic signature by drawing, typing, or uploading an image of their signature.

The E-Signature block supports multiple signing methods in QuoteCloud: recipients can draw a signature with a mouse or touchscreen, type a signature using a font-based representation, or upload an image of a saved or scanned signature.

Place the E-Signature block where a recipient's signature is required—typically at the end of an agreement, next to a signature line, or adjacent to acceptance language—so the signer clearly understands where to apply their electronic signature.

Recipients of the QuoteCloud document can sign using the E-Signature block. Any designated recipient viewing the document through QuoteCloud’s signing workflow can choose one of the supported methods (draw, type, or upload) to complete their signature.

Yes. The E-Signature block is integrated with QuoteCloud’s document generation features and electronic signature workflows, enabling seamless signing as part of generated proposals, quotes, and agreements.

Yes. Uploading a scanned or saved signature image is supported as one of the signing options within the QuoteCloud E-Signature block, allowing recipients to attach an image file of their signature when signing electronically.
