In the "flight" style itinerary, QuoteCloud lets you assign or remove passengers from specific flight segments to ensure accuracy in travel documentation. This guide provides step-by-step instructions to manage passenger assignments efficiently.
This feature lets you assign or remove specific passengers from individual flight segments inside a flight-style itinerary in QuoteCloud. It ensures each leg accurately reflects who will travel, producing correct travel documentation and reducing booking, manifest, and communication errors.
You can access this feature from the Travel Itinerary Add-on inside QuoteCloud. Open a flight-style itinerary (Flight style) and look for the guide or the passenger-management controls under the Add-on tab labeled "Assigning or Removing Passengers from Flight Segments (Flight style itinerary)."
Open the flight-style itinerary, locate the flight segment you want to edit, open the passenger list or edit controls for that segment, add or remove passengers as required, and save your changes. The changes will apply to that segment only and update any associated itinerary views.
Assigning or removing passengers per segment is useful when travelers don’t fly every leg of a trip, when itineraries change, or when you must produce accurate documents for different passengers. It helps maintain correct manifests, seat assignments, and client-facing itinerary pages.
Changes apply only to the specific flight segments you edit. You can tailor passenger lists for each leg without altering assignments on other segments of the itinerary.
No additional integrations are required. This capability is built into the Flight style option of the Travel Itinerary Add-on in QuoteCloud. You just need the Travel Itinerary Add-on enabled and the appropriate user permissions inside your QuoteCloud account.
Yes. When your QuoteCloud instance is configured to sync itineraries, updates to passenger assignments in the flight-style itinerary are reflected in client-facing itinerary pages and the TravelDocs mobile app, giving travelers and agents accurate, up-to-date information.
Yes. The Travel Itinerary Add-on works alongside QuoteCloud’s document generation and quote/proposal tools so you can include accurate, segment-level passenger details in client proposals and travel quotes. Using this with QuoteCloud’s quote software and proposal software helps ensure proposals and printed itineraries match the actual booking details.
