QuoteCloud allows you to change the order of itinerary segments to ensure travel details are presented in a logical and accurate sequence. This guide explains how to rearrange segments within your itinerary.
Open the itinerary in the QuoteCloud itinerary editor and use the editor’s reorder controls (drag-and-drop or the move up/down buttons) to place flights, hotels, car rentals and activities in the correct chronological or logical order.
After rearranging, save the itinerary to apply the change and review the updated itinerary in preview mode or generate a PDF/proposal so the presentation matches the new order. (QuoteCloud acts as sales quoting software and sales proposal software as well as an itinerary tool, so the reordered layout will be used in proposals and exported documents once saved.)
No. Reordering segments in QuoteCloud only updates how the itinerary is presented inside QuoteCloud; it does not automatically change or reissue live booking records in external systems such as Sabre or CCTE.
If the new order requires changes to the bookings themselves (for example ticket reissues or schedule changes), verify and update the live bookings directly in Sabre or CCTE and follow your agency’s ticketing procedures.
Yes. TravelDocs syncs with QuoteCloud, so when you reorder and save an itinerary the updated sequence is pushed to the TravelDocs mobile app. Travelers will see the reorganized itinerary in their app, including offline access and real-time updates.
Make sure the itinerary is saved and published so TravelDocs receives the latest version.
Reordering segments by itself does not change underlying pricing or bookkeeping records. Invoice and pricing data synced to QuickBooks Online are driven by the cost items and transactions in QuoteCloud, not the visual order of itinerary segments.
However, if you add, remove or modify priced line items while reordering (for example moving or deleting a charged service), those pricing changes will affect invoices and will sync to QuickBooks Online via the QuoteCloud integration—so always review invoices after editing priced items.
If you haven’t saved your changes, you can discard edits or use the editor’s undo control (if present) to revert the reorder. Once you save, the current layout becomes the active itinerary.
If you need to return to a previously published layout after saving, check the itinerary’s revision history or versioning features in QuoteCloud (if available) or contact QuoteCloud support for assistance restoring prior versions.
Most presentation segments (flights, hotels, cars, activities) can be reordered inside QuoteCloud for display and proposal purposes. Segments that were imported from external systems may be marked read-only for booking details—while you can change their presentation order, you cannot edit protected booking data from Sabre or CCTE inside QuoteCloud.
Check for any lock or read-only indicators on segments before attempting edits, and if a booked segment needs structural changes, update the source booking system and re-import if required.
After reordering segments, click Save (or Publish) in the itinerary editor, then use the preview, print or export functions to review the resulting PDF or proposal. Send a test copy to yourself or use TravelDocs to verify how the itinerary appears on mobile devices.
Because QuoteCloud is also used as quote software and proposal software, be sure to regenerate any proposals or documents that include the itinerary so the new order is reflected in client-facing materials.
Yes. The order you set in the itinerary editor determines the sequence shown in exported documents, PDFs and proposals generated after you save. Reordering is a presentation change inside QuoteCloud and will be reflected in all newly generated exports and proposal documents.
If you use QuoteCloud’s document generation features, regenerate the affected documents to capture the updated itinerary order before sending them to clients or syncing invoices to accounting systems like QuickBooks Online.
