QuoteCloud allows you to easily delete unwanted itinerary segments, helping you keep travel documents accurate and organised. This guide explains how to locate and remove segments you no longer need.
Deleting unwanted itinerary segments means removing individual travel line-items—such as flights, hotels, transfers, activities or other items—from an itinerary inside QuoteCloud so your travel documents remain accurate and organised. QuoteCloud is part of your sales quoting and proposal software toolkit, letting you keep generated travel documents clean and correct before you send them to clients.
Open the itinerary in the QuoteCloud editor, find the itinerary block that contains the segment you want to remove, select that segment and choose the remove/delete option, then save your changes. The editor is designed to let you remove single segments without affecting other items in the itinerary instance.
Yes. Even when an itinerary is automatically populated from CCTE or Sabre, you can manually remove or adjust individual segments inside itinerary blocks. Manual edits override the populated data for that specific itinerary instance created by your quote software or proposal software.
Deleting a segment only affects the current itinerary instance you are editing. It does not permanently alter QuoteCloud template files unless you explicitly save the edited itinerary back as a new template or overwrite an existing template in your sales quoting software settings.
QuoteCloud does not guarantee a one-click undo for every deletion. If you accidentally delete a segment, check the itinerary version history or recent edits (if available) to restore it. If version history isn’t accessible, contact your QuoteCloud administrator or support team for assistance.
Users who have edit permissions for the document or itinerary can delete segments. Role-based permissions and user access are controlled by your organisation's QuoteCloud administrators, so check your user role or contact your admin if you do not see delete options in the editor.
Deletions may be recoverable if your QuoteCloud instance keeps an itinerary version history or audit log—check the version history or recent edits for restore options. If your account doesn’t surface these tools, reach out to your QuoteCloud admin or support to learn about available recovery or audit features in your plan.
Yes—if your itinerary is synced with TravelDocs or other connected apps, removing a segment in QuoteCloud will update the synced itinerary so clients see the latest travel details. Always save changes in the editor to ensure your quote software and proposal software outputs reflect the deletion.
