QuoteCloud connects to HubSpot through Zapier, on the Essentials plan and up. Deals can create quotes from templates, and views, signatures, expiry, lost status and form answers can update HubSpot deals and contacts. Each Zap runs one way, never ticks options, and each document a Zap creates carries a per-document fee.

Connecting
How does QuoteCloud connect to HubSpot?
Through QuoteCloud's Zapier app, with no code to write. Each Zap starts from one event in one app, such as a deal reaching a stage or a document being signed, and runs actions in the other. You build one Zap for each job.
Do I need a developer?
No. Zapier is made for people who aren't developers: you choose a trigger, actions and the fields to map. Developers can use QuoteCloud's API instead, which is on the same Essentials plan.
Is the connection two Zaps or one?
As many as the jobs you want done. Each Zap runs one way, so quotes from deals is one Zap, closing deals on signature is another, and keeping contacts matched in both directions takes two.
Which HubSpot events can start a Zap?
HubSpot's Zapier triggers include New Deal, Updated Deal Stage, Deal Property Change, New Contact and New Contact Property Change. The recipes on this site use Updated Deal Stage and New Contact.
Can we use Make instead of Zapier with HubSpot?
Yes, as a bring-your-own setup. QuoteCloud has no ready-made app on Make: you connect Make to QuoteCloud with Make's built-in OAuth connection, then call QuoteCloud's API or Zapier endpoints from your scenario, beside Make's own HubSpot modules. The same jobs work, such as creating a quote when a deal reaches a stage. API access is on Essentials and up.
Quotes from deals
Can a HubSpot deal create a QuoteCloud quote?
Yes. A HubSpot trigger such as Updated Deal Stage starts a Zap that runs QuoteCloud's Create Document with your template, filling data items with the deal's details. It can stay a draft or be sent with Send Document.
Can deal products become price-table rows?
Create Document can add price-table rows from values you map: label, note, price, quantity, term, tax and discount. Copying every line item on a deal into separate rows isn't covered by these recipes, so most teams keep products in the template.
Does the Zap tick options for the buyer?
No. A Zap never ticks optional items or chooses content blocks. The template decides the content, and the buyer ticks the options they want before signing.
Back to HubSpot
Can the deal show when the quote is opened?
Yes. QuoteCloud's Recipient First Viewed Document trigger can start a Zap that finds the deal with Find Deal and adds a note with HubSpot's Create Engagement.
Can the deal close when the quote is signed?
Yes. Document Signing Complete fires once every signer has signed; Find Deal and Update Deal then set the stage to closed won, and can set the amount and close date.
How does a Zap find the right HubSpot deal?
With a value both apps share. Keep the deal's Record ID in a data item when the quote is created from the deal, and Find Deal searches on it.
Can the signed PDF be saved somewhere?
Yes, in the same Zap: Generate or Fetch Document PDF Link gives a short-lived link, and the next step uploads the file, for example to Google Drive.
Plans and cost
Which QuoteCloud plan do I need?
Essentials or higher, which includes Zapier and API access, custom data items and Form Builder. Approval workflow, scheduled document send and the sales forecast are on Business.
Is there a fee per document?
Yes, for documents created through Zapier or the API: US$2.00, $1.80 or $1.60 per document, by volume. Zaps that only update HubSpot carry no QuoteCloud fee.
Do I pay Zapier too?
Yes, Zapier bills separately. You need a Zapier plan that covers the tasks your Zaps run each month.
