Online payments in QuoteCloud let a client pay a deposit or the full amount straight from a quote or proposal after accepting it. You connect a Stripe account in your team's Payment Settings, set the payment amount and description on the document, and send it. The client signs and pays by card, and the document is marked Paid.

How to take a deposit or payment on a quote online
5 steps, start to signature.

Step 1: Connect your Stripe account
In Settings, open Users & Roles, then Teams. Edit your team, open Payment Settings and click Continue Onboarding to connect Stripe.

Step 2: Set the payment on the quote
In the document editor, click the $ (Payments) icon and set the amount, description, instructions and any discount for this document.

Step 3: Send the quote
Send the quote or proposal by email. You are notified when the client opens it, and they can choose options before accepting.

Step 4: Client signs and pays
The client signs with an eSignature, then pays by card from the same document. No account is needed.

Step 5: See what has been paid
Filter the dashboard by Paid status, and pass paid quotes to Xero or QuickBooks Online through Zapier or a native integration.
