What is the QuoteCloud Document Dashboard?

It is where every quote, proposal and contract you create in QuoteCloud lives, in the cloud. One table lists your documents with their status, client, consultant, value and dates, and from there you can find, filter, open, revise, share, sign, transfer or delete any of them without hunting through folders or inboxes.

How do I see where each document is up to?

Every document carries a status that updates as it moves, such as Creating, In Review, Scheduled Send, Sent, Delivered, Opened, Signing, Accepted, Paid, Lost, Revised and Alert. Click a status in the sidebar to see only those documents, with a count beside each one, or choose All Statuses to see everything.

How do I find a document quickly?

Turn on the Dashboard Filters row and type into any column, such as the document ID, title, consultant, recipient name, email, company or a date. Sort any column with a click, and use smart filters such as Expiring Soon to surface documents that need attention before they lapse.

Can I save the filters I use every day?

Yes. Set up the filters you want, save them as a custom filter with a name, and open it again from the sidebar in one click. You can re-save a filter with new settings or delete it when you no longer need it.

What can I do with a document straight from the dashboard?

Right-click any row, or click its ⋯ button, to edit or preview the document, pin it to the top of your list, copy its ID, close it, copy it, revise the last version, hand it over to a colleague, save it as a template or delete it. Depending on where a document is up to, you can also share a general or recipient-specific link, collect a signature in person, mark it as sent, update its status and view its history.

Can I see the history of a document?

Yes. Each document has an activity timeline showing edits, status changes and recipient activity, and version history lets you see and work from earlier versions, so you always know what was sent, when, and what changed.

What happens when I delete a document?

Deleted documents go to the Trash, not straight into oblivion. You can restore one or several documents from the Trash, or permanently delete them, including emptying the Trash when you are sure.

Can I change the columns and save different layouts?

Yes. Open Dashboard settings and choose Dashboard Layout to pick columns from groups such as Customer Details, Document Data & Status, Document Values and Travel Itinerary Details, drag them into the order you want and set the sort. Save the result as a named layout, and turn on Save current filters to keep the column filters you are using too (leave it off to save columns and sort only), then switch between your layouts and the company default from the same menu. Export Document Data, in the same menu, prepares a report of your documents and sends it to your email.
