What Asana is
Asana is a work management app where teams plan projects, assign tasks and track deadlines. QuoteCloud customers use it to run the work a signed proposal has just sold.
Each one is a trigger in one app and the steps that follow in the other. Build them as they are, or change any step.

ThenAsAsanaCreate Task
When every signer has signed, Asana creates the client's project from your onboarding template and adds a kickoff task that links back to the signed document.
Moving a scoping task to "Ready to quote" creates a draft QuoteCloud document from your template, with the client's details in its data items, and comments the document link back on the task.

Marketing services
Ambergrove Digital
Ambergrove Digital sells SEO, social and paid media retainers, and every new client follows the same onboarding steps. They run that work in Asana. When a retainer proposal is signed, the Zap creates the client's onboarding project from their Asana template and a kickoff task for the account lead, so the work starts the day the deal closes.
Ashcombe Partners has a partner review every statement of work before it goes out, using QuoteCloud's approval workflow. Partners live in Asana, not their inbox. Document Review Requested creates a task for the reviewing partner, and once they approve in QuoteCloud the document is ready to send, so engagements don't stall waiting on a sign-off.
Glasswing Studio scopes every website in Asana, with a task per prospect. When scoping is done, the producer moves the task to "Ready to quote" and Zapier creates a draft proposal from the studio's template, filling the client's details into data items and the agreed pages into price-table rows. The producer checks it and sends it from QuoteCloud; the client picks any options.
Create a Zap and sign in to your QuoteCloud account and to Asana when Zapier asks. Zapier is available on QuoteCloud's Essentials plan and up.

FAQ
QuoteCloud and Asana: questions
How does QuoteCloud connect to Asana?
QuoteCloud connects to Asana through QuoteCloud's Zapier app. Each Zap has one trigger, such as a QuoteCloud document being signed or an Asana task moving section, and the actions that follow in the other app. Data moves only when the trigger fires, in the direction the Zap sets.
Can a signed proposal create an Asana project from our template?
Yes. Use QuoteCloud's Document Signing Complete trigger, which fires when every signer has signed, then Asana's Create Project From Template action. Map the client or document name into the project name, and add a Create Task step if you want a kickoff task with a link to the document.
Can Asana create a QuoteCloud quote?
Yes. An Asana trigger such as Task Moved to Section can run QuoteCloud's Create Document action, which makes a document from one of your templates and can fill data items and price-table rows. Zapier can't tick options or choose content blocks. Documents created this way carry QuoteCloud's per-document fee.
What does it cost to connect QuoteCloud and Asana?
Zapier is available on QuoteCloud's Essentials plan and up, and Zapier's own plan limits apply. Zaps that only send QuoteCloud events to Asana add no QuoteCloud fee. Each document created through the API or Zapier carries a fee of US$2.00, $1.80 or $1.60 depending on volume.
