Signed QuoteCloud quotes, saved in the Dropbox job folder
When a client signs, Zapier can fetch the signed PDF from QuoteCloud and upload it straight into the job's Dropbox folder. It can also create the folder and an upload request for the client's files, so the job starts organised.

What Dropbox is
Dropbox is cloud file storage that teams use to share plans, artwork and job files. QuoteCloud customers use it as the place a job lives once it's won, so the signed quote belongs there too.

Construction
Corbel Building Co.
Corbel Building Co. keeps a Dropbox folder for every job, with plans, engineering and photos. When Ellie and Marcus Doyle both signed the Rear extension & kitchen quote, Zapier fetched the signed PDF and uploaded it to the Doyle job folder in the same run. Later variations, like Variation V-03, are signed the same way, so Tessa Gray has the full signed paper trail without downloading and re-saving anything.
Morrowgate Print & Signs can't start production until it has the client's artwork. When Copperleaf Café signed its shopfront signage quote, Zapier created a job folder in Dropbox and a file request pointing into it. The café uploaded its logo files there, and Juno Albrecht, the artwork coordinator, picked them up without a chain of email attachments. The signed quote follows the same path with a PDF upload step.
Tidewell Pavilion takes a deposit through the proposal itself. When Hannah Lee paid the deposit on Hannah & James's wedding reception, Zapier fetched the accepted document as a PDF and uploaded it to the confirmed-events folder in Dropbox. The kitchen and floor staff read guest numbers, the menu and the set-up from that file, while Elena Brooks keeps working in QuoteCloud.
Add QuoteCloud and Dropbox to a new Zap and sign in to each. Zapier access to QuoteCloud is on the Essentials plan and up.
2
Choose when to save
Use Document Signing Complete when every signer must have signed, Recipient Signed Document for each signature, or Document Part Paid for deposits.
3
Fetch the PDF and upload it in the same Zap
Add Generate or Fetch Document PDF Link, then Dropbox Upload File using that link. The link is short-lived, so don't store it for later.
4
Name the file and folder
Build the folder path and file name from the client and document name, test with a real document, then turn the Zap on.
QuoteCloud’s Zapier app and API are on the Essentials plan and up. Documents created through the API or Zapier carry a per-document fee of US$2.00, $1.80 or $1.60 by volume.
FAQ
QuoteCloud and Dropbox: questions
Does it sync both ways?
No. These are one-way automations you build in Zapier: a QuoteCloud event, such as a signature or a payment, makes Zapier save a file or create a folder in Dropbox. Editing or deleting the file in Dropbox doesn't change anything in QuoteCloud. If you want a Dropbox event to start something in QuoteCloud, that's a separate Zap with a Dropbox trigger.
Why can't I just save the PDF link?
The link QuoteCloud gives Zapier is short-lived, so it's meant to be used straight away, not stored. That's why the workflow fetches the link and uploads the file to Dropbox in the same Zap. Once it's uploaded, the PDF is a normal Dropbox file that stays put and can be shared like any other.
What if the quote is revised after it's signed?
A revision is a new version of the document in QuoteCloud, and the Zap runs again when that version is signed. You get a second PDF in the folder rather than an overwritten one. Including the document name and date in the file name keeps the versions easy to tell apart.
What does it cost?
Zapier access is on QuoteCloud's Essentials plan and up. Saving PDFs to Dropbox doesn't create documents, so the per-document fee for documents created through Zapier or the API (US$2.00, falling to $1.80 and $1.60 by volume) doesn't apply here. You'll need a Zapier plan that covers your multi-step Zaps and task volume.
