From Freshsales deal to signed QuoteCloud document
Zapier can create a QuoteCloud document from your template when a Freshsales deal reaches the right stage, and update the deal when the client signs. Reps quote from the deal and the pipeline shows what was really agreed.

What Freshsales is
Freshsales is Freshworks' sales CRM for contacts, accounts and deal pipelines; on Zapier it appears as Freshsales Suite. QuoteCloud customers connect it so documents start from deals and signatures update them.
Each one is a trigger in one app and the steps that follow in the other. Build them as they are, or change any step.

With a Zapier filter on the deal stage, a deal moving to Proposal creates a QuoteCloud document from your template with the account, deal name and price-table rows for licences and implementation.

Software & SaaS
Plinthwork
Plinthwork sells maintenance planning software and runs its pipeline in Freshsales. When the Tidemark Property Services deal moves to Proposal, Zapier creates a QuoteCloud document from the Plinthwork proposal template, with price-table rows for seats, term and implementation. The account executive checks it before sending. Optional modules stay as options for Lena Albright to tick.
Quillfield IT sends proposals like Managed IT and security, per user, to clients such as Calder Physio Group. When Jake Calder first opens it, Zapier creates a Freshsales task for the account manager, Nina Castell, to call. She knows the proposal has been seen before she picks up the phone.
Ashby Lane Recruitment sends terms such as the Chief Financial Officer search for Bellbrook Foods, which needs the chief executive and the chief people officer to sign. When both have signed, Zapier finds the deal in Freshsales, marks it won and adds a note. The search team can start the brief knowing the terms are in place.

FAQ
QuoteCloud and Freshsales: questions
Is this Freshsales or Freshsales Suite on Zapier?
QuoteCloud pairs with the Freshsales Suite app on Zapier, which is the one to choose when you build the Zap. It covers Freshsales deals, contacts and accounts. The connection runs through QuoteCloud's Zapier app; you need QuoteCloud on Essentials or up.
Is there a trigger for a deal stage change?
Freshsales Suite on Zapier offers Deal Updated and New Deal triggers rather than a stage-specific one. Use Deal Updated with a Zapier filter that only continues when the stage matches, such as Proposal. Without the filter, every update to a deal would create a new QuoteCloud document.
What can Zapier fill in on the QuoteCloud document?
Create Document starts from a QuoteCloud template and fills data items and price-table rows at creation: label, note, price, quantity, term, tax and discount. It cannot tick options or choose content blocks, so pick the template with the right sections. The recipient ticks options when they review the document.
What does creating documents from Freshsales cost?
API and Zapier access is on Essentials and up. Documents created through the API or Zapier carry a fee of US$2.00, $1.80 or $1.60 each, depending on volume. Zaps that only update Freshsales after a QuoteCloud event don't create documents. You'll also need a Zapier plan that covers your Zaps.
