Connect QuoteCloud to Google Calendar through Zapier and every quote you send puts its follow-up in your day, with a time attached. When the client signs, the work that follows can be booked in the same calendar your team already shares.
Google Calendar is Google's online calendar, used by teams to plan their days, share events and get reminders. QuoteCloud customers use it so follow-ups, deadlines and booked work sit beside everything else in the week.

The first time a recipient opens the proposal, a call is added to the agent's calendar for the next morning, while the proposal is fresh in the client's mind.

Example businesses from our industry pages, and the job the connection does for each.
Landscaping & gardening
Larkspur Garden Co.
Larkspur Garden Co. sends garden design and build proposals after each site visit. A Zap on Document Created puts a follow-up in Noah Field's calendar three days later, titled with the client and the proposal. When he opens his day, the follow-up for the Marsh backyard makeover is already there, with the proposal name in the event.
Fernleigh & Sloane Property sends listing proposals to owners after each appraisal. When Mei Chen first opened the proposal for her apartment at 7/22 Fig Tree Lane, the Zap added a call to the agent's calendar for the next morning. The agent rang while the proposal was still fresh, and the owner's questions were answered before she compared agencies.
Tidewell Pavilion sends wedding and function proposals with menus and extras the couple ticks. Once Hannah Lee and James Okoro both signed and paid the deposit, the Zap created the reception in the venue's shared calendar and invited the event coordinator. The kitchen and floor team see the booking beside every other function that week.

FAQ
QuoteCloud and Google Calendar: questions
How does QuoteCloud connect to Google Calendar?
Through QuoteCloud's Zapier app, with no code to write. You choose a QuoteCloud trigger, such as Document Created or Document Signing Complete, then a Google Calendar action such as Create Detailed Event or Update Event, and map the fields. Each Zap runs every time its trigger fires.
Which way does information move?
From QuoteCloud to Google Calendar. The fields you map in Zapier, such as the document's name, the client and a date, fill in the calendar event. Your quotes, pricing and signed documents stay in QuoteCloud, and moving or deleting an event in Google Calendar doesn't change the document.
Can I set my own reminders and share the events?
Yes. Once an event is in Google Calendar it behaves like any other event, so Google Calendar's own email, mobile and desktop notifications take it from there. You can share the event with your team from Google Calendar, or add Add Attendee(s) to Event to the Zap so the right people are invited automatically.
Can a quote's expiry date go in the calendar?
It can if the date is available to Zapier. Map the document's expiry or valid-until date into the start of a Create Detailed Event step, so the deadline sits in your week beside everything else. Test with a real document first to check which date fields the QuoteCloud trigger passes to Zapier.
What does it cost?
QuoteCloud's Zapier app is on the Essentials plan and up. Zaps that only create calendar events don't create documents, so they carry no document fee. If you also create documents through Zapier or the API, each carries a fee of US$2.00, falling to $1.80 and $1.60 at higher volumes. Zapier and Google Calendar have their own plans.
