Signed in QuoteCloud, tagged and followed up in Keap
When a client signs a QuoteCloud proposal, Zapier can tag them in Keap so the right onboarding sequence starts. It can also draft a proposal when an opportunity reaches the proposal stage, and create a follow-up task the moment a client first opens the document.

What Keap is
Keap is a CRM and marketing automation platform for small businesses, built around contacts, tags, opportunities and automated email sequences. QuoteCloud customers use it to nurture leads before the proposal and to welcome clients after they sign.

A proposal draft is created from your QuoteCloud template with the contact's name, company and opportunity details in its data items, ready for the consultant to finish.

Education & training
Tallowood Learning Co.
Tallowood Learning Co. runs leadership and workplace training, and nurtures every enquiry in Keap. When Leila Hassan signed the Leadership Essentials proposal for Harrowgate Health Partners and paid the deposit on signing, Zapier updated her Keap contact and added an 'Enrolled' tag. Tallowood's own Keap sequence then sent the pre-program survey and joining details, so Bec Lawson didn't have to remember to start it by hand.
Ashcombe Partners tracks every engagement as a Keap opportunity. When Rafael Ortega moved Wexley Distribution Group's opportunity to the proposal stage, Zapier created a draft of the Network & margin review statement of work from the template, with Carla Mendes and Tom Haddow's details in the data items. Rafael finished the scope and fee lines in QuoteCloud and sent it; Wexley ticked the optional workshop and signed.
Kinfield Health sends in-home care agreements such as Rosalind's recovery care at home through QuoteCloud. When Claire Avery first opened the agreement, Zapier created a Keap task for Leah Whitford, the care coordinator, to call and answer questions before the start date. Only names, contact details and the document title pass to Keap; care details stay in the QuoteCloud document.

Choose the trigger
Pick a QuoteCloud trigger such as Document Signing Complete or Recipient First Viewed Document, or Keap's Opportunity Stage Moved, and filter it to the template or stage you care about.
3
Map the contact and the action
Match the signer's email to a Keap contact with Create or Update Contact or Find Contact, then choose Tag Contact or Create Task. For the Keap-first flow, map the contact into a QuoteCloud template with Create Document.
4
Test, then switch it on
Run a test with a document sent to yourself at an @example.com address, check the result in Keap, and turn the Zap on.
QuoteCloud’s Zapier app and API are on the Essentials plan and up. Documents created through the API or Zapier carry a per-document fee of US$2.00, $1.80 or $1.60 by volume.
FAQ
QuoteCloud and Keap: questions
Does it work both ways with Keap?
No. Each Zap is a one-way automation: something happens in one app and Zapier does a set job in the other. A signature can tag a contact, or a stage change can create a draft. Editing the contact in Keap won't change a sent document, and changing the document won't update Keap. If you want both directions, build two Zaps, each with its own trigger.
Can Keap take the payment instead of QuoteCloud?
QuoteCloud takes payment only at signing, through Stripe or PayPal, when you set a deposit or full payment on the document. Keap has its own invoicing and payments, but Zapier doesn't move a QuoteCloud payment into Keap. If you invoice later from Keap, leave payment off the QuoteCloud document and use the signature as the trigger for your Keap process.
Will the proposal be finished and sent automatically?
It can be sent automatically, but most teams review it first. Create Document builds the draft from your template and fills data items and any price-table rows you map: label, note, price, quantity, term, tax and discount. Zapier doesn't tick options or choose content blocks; your client ticks options when they read it. Add a Send Document step only once you trust the template.
What does it cost?
Zapier access is on QuoteCloud's Essentials plan and up. Each document created through Zapier or the API carries a fee of US$2.00, falling to $1.80 and $1.60 at higher volumes. Zaps that only tag contacts or create tasks don't create documents, so they carry no QuoteCloud fee. You also need a Zapier plan that covers your task volume.
Which signature trigger should I use?
Use Document Signing Complete when you only want to act once everyone has signed, such as a client and their finance contact. Use Recipient Signed Document if you want a step for each signer, for example tagging each signer separately. For agreements with one signer the two behave the same, so Document Signing Complete is the safer default.
