QuoteCloud + ServiceM8

Signed QuoteCloud quotes, ready to book in ServiceM8

Your client signs the quote on their phone and Zapier creates the job in ServiceM8 with their details, the site address and the quoted work. Nobody retypes the job, and your office books the visit from the job list it already uses.

Trade services

Ridgeline Trade Services

Ridgeline Trade Services quotes hot water replacements on site, with good, better and best systems and optional add-ons in the price table. When Hannah Whitfield signed her quote and paid the deposit by card, Zapier created the job in ServiceM8 with her address and the system she chose. The office booked the install from the job list without retyping a line.

Plumbing services

Weirbrook Plumbing & Gas

Weirbrook Plumbing & Gas logs every enquiry as a ServiceM8 job, from drain inspections to gas cooktop connections. A Zap on New Job creates a quote from the matching QuoteCloud template with the customer's details already filled in. The plumber adds the findings and prices from the catalogue, sends it, and sees when the customer has viewed it.

Larkspur Garden Co.

Larkspur Garden Co. keeps its client list in ServiceM8, where the maintenance crews work. Each new client is copied into QuoteCloud with Find or Create Contact, so seasonal offers and garden care agreements go to the right address. When a client like Ava Marsh signs a care agreement, the regular visits are booked in ServiceM8.

FAQ

QuoteCloud and ServiceM8: questions

How does QuoteCloud connect to ServiceM8?

Through QuoteCloud's Zapier app, with no code to write. You choose a trigger, such as QuoteCloud's Document Signing Complete, and an action, such as ServiceM8's Create Job, then map the fields you want carried across. Each Zap is a one-way automation that runs every time its trigger fires.

Does the integration schedule the job for me?

No. The Zap creates the job in ServiceM8 with the client, site address and quoted work already on it. Your office still books the time and assigns staff in ServiceM8, the same way it does for any other job. Scheduling, job cards, completion and invoicing all stay in ServiceM8.

Can the job wait until the quote is signed?

Yes. You choose the trigger in Zapier, so the job can be created only once the quote is signed. Use Document Signing Complete when every signer must sign, or Recipient Signed Document to act on each signature. A Zapier filter can limit the Zap to certain templates or quote types.

Can a ServiceM8 job tick options on the quote?

No. Zapier never ticks options or chooses content blocks. When a ServiceM8 job starts a quote, Create Document fills data items and price-table rows from your template, with a label, note, price, quantity, term, tax and discount for each row. Your client ticks any optional extras when they review and sign.

What does it cost?

QuoteCloud's Zapier app is on the Essentials plan and up. Each document created through Zapier or the API carries a fee of US$2.00, falling to $1.80 and $1.60 at higher volumes. Zaps that only create ServiceM8 jobs or QuoteCloud contacts don't create documents, so they carry no document fee. You also need a ServiceM8 account and a Zapier plan.
