Sent, viewed and signed quotes, posted in Microsoft Teams
Connect QuoteCloud to Microsoft Teams through Zapier and your channel hears when a quote is sent, first viewed or signed. Each Zap is one switch: turn on the moments that matter and leave the rest quiet.
Microsoft Teams is the chat and meetings app in Microsoft 365, where many teams run their day in channels. QuoteCloud customers use it so the whole team sees each quote's client, value and status without leaving Teams.
When the last signer signs, a message posts to the operations channel with the client and the total, so the people who schedule and invoice the work can start.

Security & fire systems
Harrowfield Fire & Security
Harrowfield Fire & Security sends defect quotes after every routine inspection, and the service manager wants to know which ones have gone out. A Zap on Document Status Changed posts to the Teams service channel when a quote moves to Sent. When the defect quote for Calder House goes to Simone Achebe, the team sees the site, the client and the value in one message.
Plinthwork sends annual subscription proposals with plan tiers and add-ons the buyer ticks. Its sales team works in Microsoft Teams all day. A Zap on Recipient First Viewed Document posts to the deals channel when a buyer like Mossbank Health Partners first opens the proposal, so the account executive calls while the pricing is on screen.
Pellucid Facility Services quotes multi-site cleaning contracts that need a client and finance signature. Once Halden Property Group's contract is fully signed, the Zap posts the client and contract value to the operations channel in Teams. Supervisors start rostering for the new sites the same afternoon, and the people who invoice the work know it is coming.
Create a Zap and sign in to QuoteCloud and to your Microsoft account with Teams when Zapier asks. Zapier access to QuoteCloud is on the Essentials plan and up.

Choose the QuoteCloud trigger
Pick one moment per Zap, such as Recipient First Viewed Document or Document Signing Complete. For quotes going out, use Document Status Changed with a filter for Sent.
3
Send it to a Teams channel
Choose Send Channel Message, pick the team and channel, and map fields like document name, client, value and status into the message.
4
Test and turn it on
Run a test document sent to an @example.com address through the moment you chose, check the message in Teams, then switch the Zap on.
Zapier access is on QuoteCloud's Essentials plan and up. Posting updates to Teams doesn't create documents, so it carries no QuoteCloud document fee.
FAQ
QuoteCloud and Microsoft Teams: questions
How does QuoteCloud connect to Microsoft Teams?
Through QuoteCloud's Zapier app, in three steps and with no code. Choose QuoteCloud as the trigger app and pick the event, connect your QuoteCloud account, then choose Microsoft Teams as the action app and an action such as Send Channel Message. Map the fields, test the Zap and turn it on.
Which QuoteCloud events and details can be posted?
You choose both. Each Zap starts from one QuoteCloud event, such as Document Status Changed, Recipient First Viewed Document or Document Signing Complete, and posts the fields you map, for example the document name, the client, the total and the status. Leave an event out and the channel stays quiet for it.
Can we approve quotes inside Teams?
The conversation can happen in Teams: colleagues can reply under an update and agree who follows up. A Document Review Requested Zap can post an approval notice to a channel too. The document itself is reviewed, approved and signed in QuoteCloud, where the approval workflow and eSignatures live.
Is it secure to send quote updates to Teams?
Only the fields you choose to map are sent to Teams. QuoteCloud documents are protected with 256-bit encryption and hosted on AWS, and eSignatures are eIDAS compliant. Who can see each message is controlled by your Microsoft Teams channel permissions, so pick a channel that suits the details you post.
Which QuoteCloud plan do I need?
Zapier access is on QuoteCloud's Essentials plan and up. Posting updates to Teams carries no QuoteCloud fee. Each document created through Zapier or the API carries a fee of US$2.00, falling to $1.80 and $1.60 at higher volumes. Microsoft Teams and Zapier are separate services with their own plans.
