QuoteCloud connects to monday.com through QuoteCloud's Zapier app, or QuoteCloud's API for developers, on the Essentials plan and up. Items can create quotes from templates, and views, signatures, payments, form answers, expiry and lost quotes can update the board. Each Zap runs one way, and each document a Zap creates carries a per-document fee.

Connecting
How does QuoteCloud connect to monday.com?
Through QuoteCloud's Zapier app, with no code to write. Each Zap starts from one event in one app, such as an item's status changing or a document being signed, and runs actions in the other. You build one Zap for each job you want done.
Can I use QuoteCloud's API with monday.com instead?
Yes, if you have a developer. QuoteCloud's integrations list describes monday.com as connected via Zapier or the API. The GraphQL/REST API is on the Essentials plan and up, and documents it creates carry the same per-document fee as Zapier. Most teams start with Zapier.
Which monday.com events can start a Zap?
monday.com's Zapier triggers include New Item in Board, Specific Column Value Changed in Board, Any Column Value Changed in Board, Item Moved to Group (Same or Different Board) and New Update in Board. The recipes on this site use Specific Column Value Changed in Board and New Item in Board.
Is there a free trial of QuoteCloud?
Yes. QuoteCloud has a free 14-day trial with no credit card required, so you can connect monday.com through Zapier, build a Zap or two and test them with sample items and @example.com contacts before choosing a plan. You can also book a demo for a walkthrough of your own boards.
Can we use Make instead of Zapier with monday.com?
Yes, as a bring-your-own setup. QuoteCloud has no ready-made app on Make: you connect Make to QuoteCloud with Make's built-in OAuth connection, then call QuoteCloud's API or Zapier endpoints from your scenario, beside Make's own monday.com modules. The same jobs work, such as creating a quote when an item's status changes. API access is on Essentials and up.
Quotes from items
Can a monday.com item create a QuoteCloud quote?
Yes. A Zap that starts when an item's status changes to a label such as Quote needed runs QuoteCloud's Create Document with your template, filling data items from the item's columns. It can stay a draft or be sent with Send Document.
Which monday.com columns can fill the quote?
Most of the common ones. The item name, text, numbers, status, people, date and phone columns can fill QuoteCloud data items, an email column gives the recipient, and numbers can fill price-table rows. Mirror and connect-boards columns are best left alone; the column field map explains why.
Does the Zap tick options for the buyer?
No. A Zap never ticks optional items or chooses content blocks. Create Document fills data items and any price-table rows you map; the template decides the content, and the buyer ticks the options they want before signing, so the signed total reflects their own choices.
Back to the board
Can the item's status change when the quote is viewed or signed?
Yes. QuoteCloud's Recipient First Viewed Document and Document Signing Complete triggers can each start a Zap that runs monday.com's Update Item to set a status label such as Viewed or Signed, and the signed total can fill a numbers column. Build one small Zap per label.
Can a signed quote create an item on another board?
Yes. A Zap on QuoteCloud's Document Signing Complete can run monday.com's Create Item on your delivery board, post a Create Update on the new item mentioning the job lead, and upload the signed PDF with Upload File to Specific Column, all in the same Zap.
How does a Zap find the right monday.com item?
With the item's ID. Keep it in a data item when the quote is created from the item, and map it into Update Item or Create Update. If a quote wasn't created from monday.com, search with Find Items on a column that holds the quote's reference instead.
Plans and cost
Which QuoteCloud plan do I need?
Essentials or higher. It includes Zapier and API access, custom data items, Form Builder, the Product Library, Spreadsheet and QuoteCloud Payments. The approval workflow, scheduled document send and the sales forecast are on the Business plan; no recipe on this site needs them.
Is there a fee per document?
Yes, for documents created through Zapier or the API: US$2.00, $1.80 or $1.60 per document, by volume. Zaps that only update monday.com, such as setting statuses, posting updates and creating items, don't create documents, so they carry no QuoteCloud fee.
Do I pay Zapier too?
Yes, Zapier bills separately. You need a Zapier plan that covers the tasks your Zaps run each month, and steps such as Paths by Zapier and Delay by Zapier depend on the Zapier plan you choose. QuoteCloud's own fee applies only to documents a Zap creates.
