The one field every return Zap needs
A Zap that starts in QuoteCloud has to update the right item on the board. The surest way is the item's ID, put in a data item when the quote is created from the item.
Update Item and Create Update then take that ID directly, with no search. Check that your QuoteCloud trigger's test data shows the data item before you rely on it.

Status labels
Write labels exactly as they appear on the column, and add them before the Zap runs.
Numbers and money
Numbers come and go without a currency sign. Decide whether a deal value is before or after tax.
People
A People column can arrive as a user ID: Get User Details turns it into a name for a data item.
Mirror and formula
They show values from elsewhere. Read them if you need to; write to the source column instead.

Field map questions
Which monday.com columns can fill a QuoteCloud quote?
Most of the common ones. The item name, text, numbers, status, people, date and phone columns can fill QuoteCloud data items, an email column gives the recipient, and numbers can fill price-table rows. Create Document fills them when a Zap creates the quote. Custom data items are on the Essentials plan and up.
Can QuoteCloud write to a monday.com mirror column?
No, and you shouldn't need to. A mirror column shows a value from an item on a connected board, so update that source item instead. A Zap can read a mirror value with Get Column Values if the quote needs it.
Can a Zap fill the price table from monday.com?
Partly. Create Document can add price-table rows from values you map: a label, note, price, quantity, term, tax and discount. It can't tick optional items or choose content blocks, and these recipes don't turn subitems into rows. The template and the buyer do the rest.
Which QuoteCloud fields travel back to monday.com?
What QuoteCloud's triggers carry: who viewed, signed or paid and when, the document's status, total and reference, and form answers. They land as status, numbers, date and text columns, updates, new items and files through Update Item, Create Update, Create Item and Upload File to Specific Column.
