QuoteCloud connects to Pipedrive through QuoteCloud's Zapier app, on Essentials and up, or through Make as a bring-your-own setup with QuoteCloud's API. Zaps draft quotes when a deal reaches a stage, write views and signatures onto the deal, mark it won on signature and attach the signed PDF. There's no direct connection.

How does the Pipedrive connection work?
How does QuoteCloud connect to Pipedrive?
Through Zapier, with QuoteCloud's Zapier app on the Essentials plan and up. Each Zap starts from one event, such as a Pipedrive deal changing stage or a QuoteCloud document being signed, and runs steps in the other app. Teams that build their own can use Make instead, with QuoteCloud's API.
Is there a direct or native Pipedrive integration?
No. QuoteCloud has no direct or native Pipedrive connection on any plan. Everything on this site runs through Zapier, or through Make as a bring-your-own setup. That means each job, such as drafting a quote from a deal or marking it won on signature, is a Zap you build and switch on.
Do I need a developer to connect Pipedrive?
No. Zapier is built for people who aren't developers: you pick a trigger, steps and the fields to map, and test with a sample deal. A developer who wants more control can call QuoteCloud's API from their own code or a Make scenario; API access is on Essentials and up, like the Zapier app.
Can we use Make instead of Zapier with Pipedrive?
Yes, as a bring-your-own setup. QuoteCloud has no ready-made app on Make: you connect Make to QuoteCloud with Make's built-in OAuth connection, then call QuoteCloud's API or Zapier endpoints from your scenario, beside Make's own Pipedrive modules. The same jobs work, such as creating a quote when a deal reaches a stage.
Quotes, products and signatures
Can a Pipedrive deal create a QuoteCloud quote?
Yes, with a Zap. Pipedrive's Updated Deal Stage trigger, set to a stage such as Proposal made, starts a Zap that runs QuoteCloud's Create Document from your template, filling data items with the deal's details. The quote can stay a draft for the rep, or a Send Document step can send it.
Do the deal's products fill the price table?
Not automatically. A Zap can add price-table rows from values you map, one row at a time, but Pipedrive's Find Deal Products finds single products, so it can't copy a deal's whole product list. Most teams keep their packages in the template's price table, and the buyer still ticks the options.
How do eSignatures and payments work with Pipedrive?
In QuoteCloud, as for any document. Buyers sign on any device, and with QuoteCloud Payments, on Essentials and up, can pay by card when they sign. A Zap on Document Signing Complete then tells Pipedrive: it can set the deal to won and attach the signed PDF.
What shows in Pipedrive after I send a quote?
Only what your Zaps write. A Zap on Recipient First Viewed Document can add a note to the deal, one on Recipient Signed Document a note per signer, and one on Document Signing Complete the won status and the signed PDF. QuoteCloud's own analytics always show who viewed and signed.
What can the Zaps do?
Can the deal be marked won automatically when the quote is signed?
Yes, with a Zap. QuoteCloud's Document Signing Complete trigger fires once every signer has signed; Pipedrive's Find Deals finds the deal and Update Deal sets its status to won. The same Zap can attach the signed PDF with Generate or Fetch Document PDF Link and Attach File.
Which Pipedrive events can start a Zap?
Pipedrive's Zapier triggers include New Deal, Updated Deal, Updated Deal Stage, Deal Matching Filter, New Person, Updated Person and New Organization. The Zaps on this site use Updated Deal Stage and New Person; the rest start from QuoteCloud events such as Document Signing Complete and Document Expired.
How does a Zap find the right Pipedrive deal?
With a value both apps share: the deal's title used as the document's title, which Pipedrive's Find Deals searches on, or the deal's ID kept in a data item, which Get Deal finds by its ID. Check the trigger's test data shows the value before you rely on it.
Does a Zap tick options or pick content for the buyer?
No. A Zap never ticks optional items or chooses content blocks. Create Document fills data items and any price-table rows you map; the template decides the content, and the buyer ticks the options they want before signing. Your rep can still edit a draft before it's sent.
Plans and cost
Which QuoteCloud plan do I need for Pipedrive?
Essentials or higher: QuoteCloud's Zapier app and API are on Essentials and up, from US$39 per user per month, with custom data items and the product library. Approval workflow, scheduled document send and the sales forecast are on Business, but none of the Zaps on this site needs them.
Is there a fee per document?
For documents created through Zapier or the API, yes: US$2.00, $1.80 or $1.60 per document, by volume. Zaps that only update Pipedrive, such as marking a deal won or adding an activity, carry no QuoteCloud fee. If you'll create documents from Make, ask us which fee applies.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. QuoteCloud has a free 14-day trial with no credit card required, so you can try quotes, eSignatures and your Pipedrive Zaps with test data. Book a demo as well if you'd like to talk through your own pipeline with our team.
