A product catalogue built for the yard

Set up your plants, materials and labour once. Every quote after that is a search and a click.

  • Plants, materials, labour

Name, SKU, a price line label and note, and categories with two levels of subcategory: Trees, Hedging, Turf, Paving, Labour.

  • Product photos in the quote

Add images to each product. They arrive in the price table with the line, so clients see the Japanese maple, not just its name.

  • Import your price list

Bring your existing list in from a CSV with column mapping and validation, then bulk edit, duplicate or retire items.

  • Margins only you can see

Store a cost and a price on every product. Profit and margin are worked out for you and stay hidden from the client.

  • Quantities your way

Set a default quantity, allow any value or preset values, and let clients change the quantity themselves where it makes sense.

  • Fast to add

Search the catalogue from inside the quote and add several products in one go. Edit a line's details right in the table.

Good, better, best, in one price table

Give clients a choice instead of a take-it-or-leave-it number. Group options into a single-choice heading group, mark the one you recommend, and the client picks the package that suits their budget.

Perfect for spring tidy-ups, autumn clean-ups and lawn renovation offers.

  • Single- and multiple-choice option groups
  • Default selections you control
  • Optional rows for add-ons on top

Garden care, priced by the month

  • Recurring costs and billing terms on catalogue products

Optional extras

Extras the client adds themselves

Optional lines sit in the price table as tick boxes. When your client ticks one, the subtotal, tax, total and deposit update on the spot.

Tax, discounts and totals that add up

Nobody wants to re-check a calculator before sending a quote. QuoteCloud price tables do the maths: quantity times rate on every line, group subtotals for hardscape, softscape and labour, then tax and the total, updated the moment you or your client change anything.

Set your company currency and number format once, override them on a single document when you need to, and style the table to match your branding.

  • A tax column you can show, hide or remove
  • A Discount column with your own label, default value and before- or after-tax setting
  • Section headings with group subtotals or a summarised group
  • Custom columns, including formula columns (Business)
  • Save a finished price table to your content library and reuse it

Landscaping pricing questions

Can I build a landscaping price list in QuoteCloud?

Yes. The product catalogue holds your plants, materials and labour with a name, SKU, note, category and subcategories, images, a cost and a price. Import an existing price list from a CSV, then search the catalogue from inside any quote and add several products at once. The product catalogue is on Essentials and above.

Can I price by the square metre, lineal metre or plant?

Yes. Each line has a quantity and a rate, so you can price paving and turf per square metre, retaining walls per lineal metre, mulch per cubic metre and plants per pot. Set a default quantity, allow any value or preset values, and decide whether the client can change the quantity.

How do optional extras work in a landscaping quote?

Mark lines such as garden lighting, a rainwater tank or a care plan as optional rows. The client ticks the ones they want in the proposal and the subtotal, tax, total and deposit update on the page. You choose which options are selected by default. Price tables are on Essentials and above.

Can I offer good, better, best packages?

Yes. Group packages into a single-choice heading group so the client picks one, such as Tidy, Refresh or Revive, and add optional rows for extras on top. Multiple-choice groups are available too, and you decide which option is selected by default. Price tables, including option groups, are on Essentials and above.

Does QuoteCloud handle tax and discounts?

Yes. Price tables have a tax column you can show, hide or remove, and a Discount column with your own label, default value and a before- or after-tax setting. Subtotals, tax and totals calculate automatically, and you can set the currency and number format per document.

Will clients see my costs and margins?

No. You can store a cost and a price on each product, and QuoteCloud works out profit and margin for you. Costs and margins stay hidden from the client, who only sees the lines, quantities and prices you choose to show.
