Getting started with QuoteCloud

Signed, approved and the deposit paid

Your client signs the garden proposal on their phone, then pays the deposit through Stripe or PayPal on the same page. You book the crew.

QuoteCloud includes legally binding, eIDAS-compliant eSignatures on every plan. Landscaping clients sign on any device without an account, and with Stripe or PayPal connected they pay a deposit, set as a percentage or a fixed amount, or the full amount right after signing. The proposal is then marked Paid.

Approvals before a big discount goes out

On larger builds, a second pair of eyes saves margin. Set a workflow that sends any quote above a total value, or with a discount over your limit, to a manager before it can be sent.

The approver sees the document in Workflow Review, approves or declines it, and the quote moves from In Review to ready to send.

  • Triggers on total value, discount percentage, team, role or template
  • Single-step or two-level approval templates
  • Clients can comment on the scope before they sign

Signing and payment questions

Are QuoteCloud eSignatures legally binding?

Yes. QuoteCloud eSignatures are legally binding and eIDAS compliant, protected with 256-bit encryption and hosted on AWS. Every completed document includes a certificate of authenticity and an audit trail. You can also ask signers to enter a one-time passcode before they sign. eSignatures are included on every plan, including Free.

Do my clients need an account to sign a landscaping quote?

No. Clients open the proposal from a link and sign on a phone, tablet or desktop by drawing, typing or uploading a signature. There is nothing to install and no account to create. You can also have a client sign in person on your device during a site visit.

Can clients pay a deposit when they sign?

Yes. With Stripe or PayPal connected, the client pays right after accepting and signing, on the same page. You set the payment per document as a percentage, a fixed amount or the full amount, and it fills in from the price table. Accepting payments is on Essentials and above.

Which payment gateways can landscapers use?

QuoteCloud takes payments through Stripe (card payments) and PayPal. You need an account with the gateway, and availability and transaction fees vary by region and provider. Each team in QuoteCloud can connect its own Stripe account, which suits businesses with separate design and maintenance teams.

Can two people sign the same garden proposal?

Yes. Add several signers, such as both owners of a property, and assign each their own eSignature blocks in as many places as you need. Each signature is recorded on the completed document with its certificate of authenticity and audit trail.

Can a manager approve a quote before it is sent?

Yes, on the Business plan and above. Approval workflows send a quote to the right approvers when it meets a condition, such as a total value or discount percentage above your limit. The approver approves or declines it, and only an approved quote goes on to be sent to the client.
