A website enquiry, priced and approved before it goes out

Jonah fills in Morrowgate's website form on a Saturday night: stand 14, 3 m × 2.5 m, a back wall, two pull-up banners and something for the counter. By Monday the enquiry is a draft quote with his answers kept as data items and the graphics as lines from the display template.

Over $2,500, the quote can't be sent until Ines approves it. The approval rule is set once, on the Business plan, so big stands, hoardings and fleet jobs always get a second look.

Fourteen mesh panels for a building site

Large-format and display quote questions

Can I price large-format work by the square metre in QuoteCloud?

Yes. Build your area calculator as a Spreadsheet block (Essentials and up): width × height, waste, media and finishing rates. Connect its cells to the line's description and unit price, and set the number of panels or banners as the line's quantity.

Can a website enquiry create a display quote?

Yes, from the Essentials plan. Your website form can create a quote from your template through the QuoteCloud API, Zapier or Make, filling data items and adding lines, or an AI assistant connected through MCP can be set up to prepare a draft. Your team reviews it before it's sent.

Can big quotes need a manager's approval?

Yes, on the Business plan. Set an approval rule on total value or discount percentage, and any quote over it waits In Review until an approver accepts it. Until then it can't be sent.

What happens when an event-dated quote expires?

Each quote shows its expiry date, so the client knows how long the price stands, and the Expiring Soon filter shows the quotes about to lapse so you can follow up. Nothing renews or re-sends automatically; send a revised quote if the client still wants to go ahead.

Does QuoteCloud measure vehicles or book installs?
