Artwork proofs approved with a signature, not a reply
The proof sits inside the quote with your checks; the client asks questions in the comments, then approves it and signs in one step.

With QuoteCloud the artwork proof goes into the quote as an image or PDF block with the printer's own checks (spelling, sizes, colour disclaimer). The client comments, the team answers with a new proof, and the client approves by signing, with a certificate of authenticity. QuoteCloud does no preflight or colour proofing: screen colour is a guide.

An engineered drawing of a fascia sign proof, Proof 2 Rev B for Copperleaf Café from a fictional sign maker, Morrowgate Print & Signs, lying on a light table: the flat 4,800 × 900 mm artwork with crop marks, a highlighted cut line, a registration mark and dimension strings, and a circular loupe detail magnifying the corner with its crop mark and cut line. Beside it the proof's three checks tick one by one: spelling, wording and phone numbers; sizes and positions; and that colours on screen are a guide only. Then the proof is approved and the quote signed by Lena Marchetti on Tue 10 Nov 2026, with a certificate of authenticity.

The proof, its checks and the questions, all in the quote
Juno places the proof in Lena's quote as an image block, with Morrowgate's own wording: the size, stock and colours, what changed since the last round, and three statements Lena confirms before she approves.
Lena's question about the frost band is answered in the comments. When she's happy, she approves the proof and signs the quote in one step, so the artwork she approved, the price she accepted and the deposit she paid sit together under one certificate of authenticity.

Sample artwork from a fictional business. Comments and replies are on every plan; keeping earlier versions of a quote is version history, on the Business plan. QuoteCloud carries the proof and the client's approval: preflight, file checks and colour proofing stay with your artwork team.

Proof approval questions, answered
How does a client approve an artwork proof in QuoteCloud?
Put the proof in the quote as an image or PDF block with the checks you want confirmed. The client reads it, asks any questions in the comments, then approves it by signing the quote. The signed document carries a certificate of authenticity and an audit trail.
Is the colour on screen accurate?
No screen is a colour proof, and QuoteCloud doesn't do colour proofing or colour management. Say so in your proof's disclaimer, as the samples here do, and offer a printed or press proof when colour is critical.
Does QuoteCloud check artwork files?
No. Preflight, PDF checks, imposition and file preparation stay with your artwork or prepress team. QuoteCloud carries the proof you attach and records the client's approval with their signature.
What happens when the client asks for a change?
Answer in the comments, revise the artwork and send the next proof round, noting what changed. On the Business plan the earlier version stays in the version history, so you can show what was asked for and when.
Can the client mark up the proof themselves?
Clients comment on the quote and reply to your answers; that's how changes are asked for. The image editor (Starter and up) is for your team, for example to mark up a site photo or highlight a change on the proof before you send it.
