An engineered exploded drawing of the Copperleaf Café shopfront for a fictional sign maker, Morrowgate Print & Signs. Four numbered zones: 1 the fascia panel, 4,800 × 900 mm; 2 the window frost vinyl band, 3,600 × 500 mm; 3 the projecting lightbox, 600 × 600 mm; 4 the install, with a scissor lift at the kerb. Each sign floats forward of the wall on dashed assembly lines until its line joins the sign schedule, then slides onto its zone. The schedule card adds the fascia panel at $995.00 from cell Job!D10, the window vinyl at $126.00 from Job!D14, the lightbox at $1,480.00 and the installation at $720.00 from Job!D13, plus artwork and proofing at $180.00, building to $3,851.10 inc tax.

Rafe measures the fascia, picks the substrate and finish, and types the install hours into the Job tab of his estimating sheet, a Spreadsheet block in the sign-package template. Connected cells set the fascia, installation and window vinyl lines' descriptions and unit prices, so the quote Lena reads always matches the workings.

Can I quote several signs in one QuoteCloud quote?
Yes. Put each sign on its own price-table line with its size, material and a thumbnail, group them into sections such as fascia, windows and install, and make the extras optional lines the client can tick. The total and the deposit follow what the client chooses.
Can my sign estimating spreadsheet price the lines?
Yes, on the Essentials plan and up. Build or import your calculator as a Spreadsheet block in the template. Any cell can be connected to a price line's description and unit price, so area, waste, material, finish and install hours set the lines. The price table total can come back into a cell for your own checks.
How do I show where each sign goes?
Add site photos to a gallery or image block and mark them up with numbered labels in the image editor (Starter and up), then use the same numbers in your line descriptions. The artwork proof shows the sign itself, with its sizes.
Does QuoteCloud book the install or check permits?
No. QuoteCloud carries the quote, the proof, the signature and the deposit. Site surveys, permits, access equipment and electrical work stay with you and the client; put them in as lines or install notes so the client knows what's included.
Can the client change their mind about an extra after signing?
Once a quote is signed it's a record of what was agreed. If the client wants to add the lightbox later, send a revised quote or a short new one for the extra, and they sign that. Version history is on the Business plan.
