Build quotes and proposals into your own systems
The QuoteCloud API lets your website, booking system or app create documents from your templates, send them for signature and payment, and react when they're viewed, signed or paid.

- Building QuoteCloud since 2013
The QuoteCloud API lets your own software create documents from QuoteCloud templates, fill their data items, add price-table rows, send them and keep the product catalogue in step. Document events such as viewed, signed and paid reach your system through Zapier. API and Zapier access are on Essentials and up, with a per-document fee.

Illustration with sample data: on the left Tidewell Pavilion's own booking system, enquiry ENQ-50418 for Hannah Lee and James Okoro's wedding on 13 March 2027; on the right QuoteCloud's wedding reception proposal TP-2741; a thread joins them. Six jobs play in turn, the data riding the thread: 1, Create: Hannah sends the website form and Tidewell's server creates TP-2741 from the wedding template (Create Document, through the QuoteCloud API). 2, Send: the server adds Hannah and James as recipients and sends it (Add Document Recipient, Send Document). 3, Track: Hannah opens it and a Zap posts the event to the booking system (Recipient First Viewed Document, through Zapier). 4, Sign: both sign, ticking the late-night grazing, and the enquiry becomes a booking (Document Signing Complete). 5, Paid: the 20% deposit of $4,922.28 is paid in the proposal (Document Part Paid). 6, What if it expires instead: the held date is released (Document Expired). It ends on the signed proposal with the booking confirmed.

The extras come from the template: a call never ticks options or chooses content blocks. Every business here is fictional, from the events microsite.
API, Zapier or Make: which route fits your build?
All three reach the same QuoteCloud actions and events, on the Essentials plan and up.
Your own code: the API
Your server calls QuoteCloud with a credential we issue: create documents, add recipients, send, fetch PDF links and manage products. The API reference isn't public, so ask us for the endpoint and fields.
Authentication and IDsZapier: QuoteCloud's Zapier app
Ready-made triggers, actions and searches, including every document event on this site. A Zap with Webhooks by Zapier is the quickest way to get events to your own endpoint.
Get events to your systemMake: bring your own
Connect Make to QuoteCloud with Make's built-in OAuth connection, then call QuoteCloud's API or Zapier endpoints from a scenario. There's no ready-made QuoteCloud app on Make: you design each step.

What goes in, what comes out, what stays with people
Into QuoteCloud
The template, the title, data items, price-table rows with quantity, price, tax, discount and cost, recipients, contacts, images in named image blocks and products.
Create documentsOut of QuoteCloud
Document events, the current status, a short-lived PDF link, a page preview image valid for an hour, and product changes.
Document eventsWith your team and client
The template decides the content. Your client ticks options, signs and pays in the document; your team can edit a draft before it goes. Approvals are on Business.

API questions, answered
Does QuoteCloud have an API?
Yes. QuoteCloud's API and Zapier app are on the Essentials plan and up. Your own software can create documents from templates with data items and price-table rows, add recipients, send documents, fetch PDF links and manage products. QuoteCloud doesn't publish an API reference, so ask us for the endpoint, credentials and fields before you build.
Is there public API documentation?
Not yet. QuoteCloud doesn't publish an API reference, so the request examples on this site are illustrative and their field names follow QuoteCloud's Zapier app. Book a call with the QuoteCloud team for the endpoint, the authentication method and the fields your integration needs.
Can my system find out when a document is signed?
Yes, through Zapier. QuoteCloud's Zapier app has triggers such as Recipient First Viewed Document, Document Signing Complete and Document Part Paid. A Zap can pass each event to your own endpoint with Webhooks by Zapier, or update another app directly. QuoteCloud doesn't document direct webhooks to your server.
Which QuoteCloud plan includes the API?
Essentials or higher, from US$39 per user per month. Documents created through the API or Zapier carry a per-document fee of US$2.00, $1.80 or $1.60 by volume. Every plan includes eSignatures, and QuoteCloud Payments for deposits is on Essentials and up as well.
Can an API call choose options or content for the client?
No. A create call fills a template's data items and adds price-table rows; the template decides the content blocks, and optional items stay for your client to tick. Your team can still edit a draft before it's sent, and the client signs and pays in the document.
