Rows into QuoteCloud fill Create Document's title, data items and price-table row fields (label, notes, price, quantity), Find or Create Contact's email and names, and Create Product's name, SKU, folder and price. QuoteCloud events back to the sheet write the document number, client, event, amount and time into the columns you choose.

Data item names are the ones in your template. Column names are yours. All values are sample data.
The one column every update Zap needs
Zaps that change a row, rather than add one, find it with Lookup Spreadsheet Row. The value they search on is the document number, so the Zap that first writes the row must write it.
Going the other way, keep the sheet's Row ID in a data item, such as Request row, when a row creates a document. A later Zap can then go straight back to the row.

Column types to watch
Prices and quantities
Map plain numbers (5940, not $5,940.00) into Price and Quantity. Format the column as a number, or clean it with a Formatter by Zapier step.
Dates and times
Create Spreadsheet Row can use the spreadsheet's own time zone to format dates. Set the sheet's time zone first.
Yes / no fields
Create Product's yes/no settings and Create Document's Term Based Product are required. Type them in the Zap unless a column really varies.

Column map questions
Can any column become a data item?
Yes, if the template has a data item for it. Add the data items in your QuoteCloud template first; Create Document then shows them as fields to map from the sheet's columns. Custom data items are on the Essentials plan and up.
Which Create Document fields are required?
Document Title, Row Type, Term Based Product and Auto Send Document are marked required in Zapier. Row Type is pricing or heading; Term Based Product says whether a row is priced per term; Auto Send Document says whether to send straight away.
Why did my price arrive as zero or blank?
Usually because the column holds text such as $5,940.00. Price expects a plain number. Format the column as a number in Google Sheets, or add a Formatter by Zapier step to strip the currency sign and commas.
Can the sheet set which options the client sees ticked?
No. A Zap fills data items and adds price-table rows; it doesn't tick optional items, choose packages or choose content blocks. Those stay in the template and with the client.
