QuoteCloud connects to Microsoft OneDrive through QuoteCloud's Zapier app, on Essentials and up, or through Make as a bring-your-own setup. Zaps file signed PDFs in client folders, make folders for new clients, keep form answers and share folders with your team. Filing creates no documents, so there's no per-document fee.

How does the OneDrive connection work?
How does QuoteCloud connect to Microsoft OneDrive?
Through QuoteCloud's Zapier app, with no code to write. Each Zap starts from a QuoteCloud event, such as Document Signing Complete or New Contact Created, and runs OneDrive steps such as Find Folder, Create Folder or Upload File. Files move one way, from QuoteCloud into OneDrive.
Is there a direct or native OneDrive integration?
No. QuoteCloud has no direct or native OneDrive connection on any plan. OneDrive connects through Zapier, with QuoteCloud's Zapier app on Essentials and up, or through Make as a bring-your-own setup with QuoteCloud's API.
What do I need on the OneDrive side?
A Microsoft account with OneDrive and a folder for the files to land in, such as Clients or Matters. You sign in to OneDrive from Zapier when you add it as an action app; there's nothing to install.
Can we use Make instead of Zapier with OneDrive?
Yes, as a bring-your-own setup. QuoteCloud has no ready-made app on Make: you connect Make to QuoteCloud with Make's built-in OAuth connection, then call QuoteCloud's API or Zapier endpoints from your scenario, beside Make's own OneDrive modules. API access is on Essentials and up.
Filing signed documents
Can signed PDFs be saved in OneDrive automatically?
Yes. Document Signing Complete starts a Zap once every signer has signed. OneDrive's Find Folder finds the client's folder, QuoteCloud's Generate or Fetch Document PDF Link gets the signed PDF, and OneDrive's Upload File saves it in that folder in the same Zap.
Can I choose the folder and the file name?
Yes. Map the client's name into Find Folder to pick the folder, or fix a folder such as Not proceeding. Build the file name from the document's own details, such as the date, reference and title, so files sort by date and anyone can search them.
Why does the Zap upload the PDF straight away?
Because the link is short-lived. Generate or Fetch Document PDF Link gives Zapier a link that only works for a short time, so OneDrive's Upload File has to come right after it in the same Zap. Don't save the link itself to use later.
Can I bring Word files from OneDrive into QuoteCloud?
You can upload them yourself. QuoteCloud's eSignature page says PDFs, images and Word files can be uploaded, sent and eSigned. Whether a Word file becomes a fully editable QuoteCloud document isn't confirmed, and there's no Zap for it on this site.
Records, sharing and security
Where are the certificate of authenticity and audit trail kept?
With the document in QuoteCloud. Every completed QuoteCloud document includes a certificate of authenticity and an audit trail, and Document History lists views, edits, status changes and signatures. The Zap files a copy of the signed PDF in OneDrive as your own record.
Can a client's form answers be kept in OneDrive?
Yes. QuoteCloud's Form Submitted on Document trigger starts a Zap when a recipient submits a Forms block, and OneDrive's Create Text File saves the answers you map in the client's folder. Form Builder is on the Essentials plan and up.
Can the project team be given access automatically?
Yes. After Upload File, OneDrive's Create Sharing Invitation shares the folder with the people and access you set, or Create Sharing Link makes a link for a Microsoft Teams message. The client sees their documents in QuoteCloud, not the folder.
How secure is keeping QuoteCloud documents in OneDrive?
QuoteCloud is hosted on AWS with 256-bit encryption and eIDAS-compliant eSignatures. The copy in OneDrive is protected by your Microsoft account and the folder's sharing. Keeping the signed copy in OneDrive as well means it is stored in more than one place.
Plans and cost
Which QuoteCloud plan do I need for OneDrive?
Essentials or higher: QuoteCloud's Zapier app and API are on the Essentials plan and up, from US$39 per user per month. Form Builder, used by the form-answers Zap, is on Essentials too. Zapier and Microsoft have their own plans.
Is there a fee per document filed?
No. Filing, folder, form-answer and sharing Zaps don't create documents. The per-document fee of US$2.00, $1.80 or $1.60 by volume is only for documents created through Zapier or the API, such as a quote a Zap drafts from a CRM deal.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. QuoteCloud has a free 14-day trial with no credit card required, so you can connect OneDrive through Zapier and file signed test documents in your own folders before you choose a plan.
