You need QuoteCloud's Essentials plan or higher for its Zapier app, from US$39 per user per month, a ServiceM8 account and a Zapier plan for your task volume. Each document a Zap or the API creates carries a fee of US$2.00, $1.80 or $1.60, by volume. Zaps that only create ServiceM8 jobs or clients carry no QuoteCloud fee.

- Only documents a Zap or the API creates carry this fee. Creating ServiceM8 jobs, creating clients, matching contacts, messages and filing PDFs don't create documents.
- Of the recipes on this site, only the proposal Zap that drafts from a ServiceM8 job creates documents. Proposals your team builds by hand in QuoteCloud don't carry it.
- Which rate applies depends on your volume: ask QuoteCloud for the tiers that fit yours. Zapier bills its own plans separately.

How do ServiceM8 teams keep the fee down?
By sending only the right jobs. A Job Queued trigger fires only for jobs your team puts in the proposals queue, so call-outs and repairs quoted in ServiceM8 never create QuoteCloud documents. A Job Category on New Job does the same for one kind of job.
Teams that draft fewer proposals often skip the proposal Zap altogether: the tech starts the proposal in QuoteCloud from the template, and only the Work Order Zap runs, which carries no QuoteCloud fee.

Which per-document rate will I pay?
The rate falls from US$2.00 to $1.80 and $1.60 as volume grows. QuoteCloud sets the volumes each rate applies at, so ask us for the tiers that match the number of documents your Zaps or API calls will create each month.
Does creating a ServiceM8 job cost anything in QuoteCloud?
No. The per-document fee is only for QuoteCloud documents created through Zapier or the API. Creating ServiceM8 jobs or clients, finding contacts and sending messages don't create documents, though each step uses a task on your Zapier plan.
Do deposits cost extra?
Taking deposits needs no extra QuoteCloud plan: QuoteCloud Payments is included on Essentials and up. You connect your own Stripe or PayPal account, and their processing fees apply as they do today; gateway availability and fees vary by region and provider.
