Into QuoteCloud, a ServiceM8 job's number, address, description and staff fill the proposal's data items through Create Document. Back into ServiceM8, Create Job takes a Job Status, customer, job address, description, purchase order number and job contact from the signed quote. The client's chosen option, add-ons and photos stay in the QuoteCloud proposal.

These stay where they are. The quote's reference on the job is the way back to them.

The chosen option and the ticked add-ons are in the signed proposal. We haven't confirmed a trigger carries them.
Photos and plans
Job photos, marked-up photos and plan pages stay in the QuoteCloud document.
Price-table lines
ServiceM8's Create Job has no line-item fields, so the quote's lines aren't copied to the job.
Payments
The deposit is in QuoteCloud and Stripe or PayPal. ServiceM8's Zapier app has no payment step.
The signed PDF
No attachment action in ServiceM8's Zapier app. Ways teams file it.

Field map questions
Can the quote's line items become the ServiceM8 job's materials?
No. ServiceM8's Create Job action in Zapier has no line-item or material fields, and we haven't confirmed that a QuoteCloud trigger carries the price-table lines. The job gets a description and the quote's reference; the lines stay in the signed proposal.
Which field links the ServiceM8 job to the signed quote?
The purchase order number. The recipes map the QuoteCloud reference, such as WP-2214, into Create Job's Purchase Order Number and the job description, so anyone on the job can find the signed quote in QuoteCloud.
Why put the ServiceM8 job number in a data item?
So people can match the proposal to the job it came from, and so a Make scenario you build could update that job through ServiceM8's API. A Zap can't use it to update the job, because ServiceM8's Zapier app has no update action.
Which Create Job field is required?
Job Status. Zapier lists it as the one required field; the recipes set it to Work Order. Every other field, including Customer Name, is optional: left blank, ServiceM8 creates a new customer from the job contact details.
