QuoteCloud connects to simPRO through Zapier, with QuoteCloud's Zapier app on the Essentials plan and up, or through Make as a bring-your-own setup. Zaps can draft proposals from simPRO quotes and, when documents are signed, open simPRO service jobs at the right site and attach the signed PDF. There's no direct connection or sync.

How does the simPRO connection work?
How does QuoteCloud connect to simPRO?
Through Zapier, with no code to write. QuoteCloud and simPRO each have a Zapier app, so a Zap can start from a QuoteCloud event, such as Document Signing Complete, and run simPRO steps such as Create Service Job, or start from simPRO's Quote Updated and create a QuoteCloud document. Each Zap runs one way.
Is there a direct or native simPRO integration?
No. QuoteCloud has no direct or native simPRO connection on any plan, and nothing syncs by itself. simPRO connects through Zapier, with QuoteCloud's Zapier app on Essentials and up, or through Make as a bring-your-own setup with QuoteCloud's API.
Do I need a developer to connect simPRO?
No. Zapier is built for people who aren't developers: you pick a trigger, steps and the fields to map. A developer who wants more control can call QuoteCloud's API from their own code or from a Make scenario instead, on the same Essentials plan as the Zapier app.
Can we use Make instead of Zapier with simPRO?
Yes, as a bring-your-own setup. QuoteCloud has no ready-made app on Make: you connect Make to QuoteCloud with Make's built-in OAuth connection, then call QuoteCloud's API or Zapier endpoints from your scenario, beside Make's own tools for simPRO or simPRO's API. API access is on Essentials and up.
Tenders, jobs and sites
Can a signed QuoteCloud proposal open a job in simPRO?
Yes, a service job. When every signer has signed, a Zap finds or creates the customer and site in simPRO, runs Create Service Job with the proposal's reference as the order number, and attaches the signed PDF. simPRO's Zapier app has no action for project jobs.
Does the simPRO job copy the proposal's price table?
No. simPRO's Create Service Job takes the customer, site, order number, name, description and people, not lines, sections or cost centres. The client's approved choices are in the signed PDF the Zap attaches to the job; cost the job in simPRO as you do now.
How do eSignatures and deposits work with simPRO?
Both happen in QuoteCloud. Clients sign online, with every signer recorded, and can pay a deposit on acceptance by card through Stripe or through PayPal, set as a percentage or a fixed amount. Later stage payments are your own progress invoices from simPRO. eSignatures are on every plan; payments on Essentials and up.
Can QuoteCloud handle multi-site clients?
Yes. Send one agreement per site from one template, with each site's name and address in data items. As each is signed, a Zap uses simPRO's Find or Create Site to open the job at that site, adding the site if it's new.
What can the Zaps do?
Which simPRO events can start a Zap?
simPRO's Zapier triggers include New Job, Job Updated, New Quote, Quote Updated, New Site, Site Updated, New Company Customer, New Individual Customer and New Schedule. Quote Updated, filtered on your finished stage, is the one that drafts proposals on this site.
How does a Zap find the right simPRO job?
By the job's order number. The tender-to-job Zap writes the proposal's reference into Create Service Job's Order Number, and later Zaps, such as the variation Zap, use simPRO's Find Job on that number, which can also search by ID or name.
Can signing mark the simPRO quote approved?
No. simPRO's Zapier app has no action that updates a quote. Your team converts or approves the quote in simPRO as now, or the tender-to-job Zap opens a service job from the signed proposal instead.
Does a Zap tick options or pick content for the client?
No. A Zap fills data items, the recipient and, if you map them, price-table rows. It never ticks optional items or chooses content blocks: the client ticks options before signing, and your team edits a draft before it goes out.
Plans and cost
Which QuoteCloud plan do I need for simPRO?
Essentials or higher: QuoteCloud's Zapier app and API are on Essentials and up, from US$39 per user per month. Business, from US$59, adds the approval workflow and scheduled document send, which none of the Zaps needs.
Is there a fee per document?
Yes, for documents created through Zapier or the API: US$2.00, $1.80 or $1.60 each, by volume. On this site only the estimate-to-proposal Zap creates documents. Zaps that open jobs, attach PDFs or create leads don't, though each step uses a Zapier task.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. QuoteCloud has a free 14-day trial with no credit card required, so you can connect simPRO through Zapier and test your Zaps on a test customer and site before you choose a plan.
