Connect simPRO to QuoteCloud, tender to job
Send the tender, variation or maintenance agreement your client signs from QuoteCloud, and let a Zap open the job in simPRO at the right site with the signed PDF attached. Teams that build their own can use Make.

- Building QuoteCloud since 2013
QuoteCloud connects to simPRO through QuoteCloud's Zapier app, on the Essentials plan and up, or through Make as a bring-your-own setup. A Zap can draft a proposal when a simPRO quote is complete, then, when the client signs, find or create the customer and site, create the service job and attach the signed PDF. Each Zap runs one way.

Illustration with sample data: on the left a generic simPRO record, quote 30418 that becomes service job 30455, Rooftop plant replacement at 42 Orchard Lane for Bellbird Property Group; on the right Halden Climate Co.'s commercial proposal HC-C-0731 in QuoteCloud; a thread joins them (Zapier). Six jobs play in turn, the data riding the thread: 1, Propose: Ingrid sets the simPRO quote to Complete; a Zap drafts the proposal (Quote Updated then Create Document). 2, Open the job: both signers sign and pay the deposit; the service job opens at the site (Document Signing Complete then Create Service Job). 3, File: the same Zap attaches the signed proposal to the job (Generate or Fetch Document PDF Link then Attach File to Job). 4, Vary: a signed variation is filed on the same job (Document Signing Complete then Attach File to Job). 5, Notify: one more step tells the crew in Slack or Microsoft Teams (Document Signing Complete then Send Channel Message). 6, Follow up (what if the proposal expires instead): a simPRO lead with a follow-up date (Document Expired then Create Lead). It ends on the signed proposal and the job in progress.

What can QuoteCloud do with simPRO jobs?
Six jobs across the work a contractor wins and delivers, each one a Zap. Each links to the recipe that builds it, with the exact Zapier steps.

1
Propose
Set a simPRO quote to your finished stage and a client-facing proposal is drafted from your template, with the quote's number, customer and site.

One agreement per building, each signed on its own, and each one opens a job at that building's simPRO site.

Where does QuoteCloud stop and simPRO start?
QuoteCloud is what the client reads, chooses from and signs. simPRO is where the work is costed, scheduled and invoiced.
In QuoteCloud: the client's document
Tenders, proposals, variations and maintenance agreements with options the client ticks, a deposit on acceptance and every signer's eSignature.
Proposal softwareBetween them: Zaps
The quote's details into the proposal; the signed result back as a service job, a site, a lead and the signed PDF on the job.
The full field mapIn simPRO: the work
Job costing, cost centres, scheduling, stock and progress invoicing stay in simPRO. A Zap never ticks options or chooses content blocks for the client.
What it can and can't do
Zapier or Make: how do you want to build it?
There's no direct simPRO connection inside QuoteCloud. Both routes reach the same QuoteCloud events and actions.
Zapier: both apps ready-made
QuoteCloud's Zapier triggers, actions and searches beside simPRO's own Zapier app: the recipes on this site. Essentials and up; documents a Zap creates carry US$2.00, $1.80 or $1.60 each by volume.
Connect it, step by stepMake: bring your own
Connect Make to QuoteCloud with Make's built-in OAuth, then call QuoteCloud's API or Zapier endpoints from a scenario, beside Make's own tools for simPRO or simPRO's API. No ready-made QuoteCloud app on Make: you design each step.

simPRO questions, answered
How does QuoteCloud connect to simPRO?
Through Zapier, with no code to write. QuoteCloud and simPRO each have a Zapier app, so a Zap can start from a QuoteCloud event, such as Document Signing Complete, and run simPRO steps such as Create Service Job, or the other way round. Each Zap runs one way. Make works too, as a bring-your-own setup.
Is there a direct simPRO integration in QuoteCloud?
No. QuoteCloud has no direct or native simPRO connection on any plan. simPRO connects through Zapier, with QuoteCloud's Zapier app on Essentials and up, or through Make as a bring-your-own setup with QuoteCloud's API. Every recipe on this site is a Zap you build and own.
Can a signed QuoteCloud proposal create the job in simPRO?
Yes, as a service job. QuoteCloud's Document Signing Complete trigger fires once every signer has signed, and simPRO's Create Service Job opens the job with the customer, site, order number and name you map. simPRO's Zapier app has no action for project jobs, so projects are created in simPRO and a Zap finds them with Find Job.
Which QuoteCloud plan do I need for simPRO?
Essentials or higher: QuoteCloud's Zapier app and API are on Essentials and up. Documents created through Zapier or the API carry a per-document fee of US$2.00, $1.80 or $1.60 by volume. Zaps that only write to simPRO, such as opening a job or attaching a PDF, don't create documents.
Can we use Make instead of Zapier with simPRO?
Yes, as a bring-your-own setup. QuoteCloud has no ready-made app on Make: you connect Make to QuoteCloud with Make's built-in OAuth connection, then call QuoteCloud's API or Zapier endpoints from your scenario, beside Make's own tools for simPRO or simPRO's API. API access is on Essentials and up.
