QuoteCloud connects to Zoho CRM through QuoteCloud's Zapier app, on Essentials and up, or through Make as a bring-your-own setup with QuoteCloud's API. Zaps draft proposals when a lead converts or a deal reaches a stage, write views and signatures to the deal, close it won and attach the signed PDF. There's no native connection.

How does the Zoho CRM connection work?
How does QuoteCloud connect to Zoho CRM?
Through QuoteCloud's Zapier app, beside Zoho CRM's own Zapier app. Each Zap starts from one event, such as a deal being created or updated in Zoho CRM or a document being signed in QuoteCloud, and runs steps in the other app. Teams that build their own can use Make instead.
Is there a native Zoho CRM integration in QuoteCloud?
No. QuoteCloud has no native Zoho CRM connection on any plan, and nothing is kept in step by itself. Zoho CRM connects through Zapier, with QuoteCloud's Zapier app on Essentials and up, or through Make as a bring-your-own setup with QuoteCloud's API.
Can we use Make instead of Zapier?
Yes, as a bring-your-own setup. QuoteCloud has no ready-made app on Make: you connect Make to QuoteCloud with Make's built-in OAuth connection, then call QuoteCloud's API or Zapier endpoints from your scenario, beside Make's own Zoho CRM modules. API access is on Essentials and up.
Does it keep Zoho CRM and QuoteCloud matching all the time?
No. Each Zap is a one-way automation that runs when its trigger fires: a deal can create a document, and a signature can update the deal, but these are separate Zaps. Editing the deal in Zoho CRM won't change a proposal you've already sent.
Proposals, buyers and signatures
Why send a QuoteCloud proposal instead of a Zoho CRM quote?
For the buyer's experience. A QuoteCloud proposal lets the buyer choose a package, tick extras, ask questions in comments, eSign on any device and pay a deposit. Zoho CRM stays your system of record, and Zaps write the outcome back to the deal.
Will deal details fill the QuoteCloud proposal?
Yes, the ones you map. QuoteCloud's Create Document fills the template's data items from the Zoho CRM deal, such as the deal name, Id, owner, account and lead source, and Add Document Recipient adds the contact. A Zap never ticks options or chooses content blocks.
Can several people sign the same proposal?
Yes. Add each signer as a recipient; each signs online on any device. QuoteCloud's Recipient Signed Document trigger fires for each signer and Document Signing Complete once everyone has signed, so a Zap can track progress on the deal and close it on the last signature.
Can the buyer pay a deposit when they sign?
Yes, on Essentials and up. QuoteCloud Payments takes a deposit or the full amount through Stripe or PayPal inside the document when the buyer signs. That happens in QuoteCloud, not through the Zap; a Zap can then tell Zoho CRM.
What can the Zaps do in Zoho CRM?
Which Zoho CRM triggers can start a Zap?
Zoho CRM's Zapier app offers New Module Entry, Updated Module Entry and New/Updated Module Entry for any module, such as Deals or Products, plus New Lead, New Contact, their new-or-updated versions and New User. The module-entry triggers are instant, and Zapier suggests them for paid Zoho CRM plans.
Can a QuoteCloud signature move a Zoho CRM deal's stage?
Yes. On QuoteCloud's Document Signing Complete, Zoho CRM's Find Module Entry finds the deal and Update Module Entry sets the stage, such as Closed Won. If a blueprint controls the stage on your account, test it first, or write a QuoteCloud status field instead.
Can a Zap convert a Zoho CRM lead?
Yes. Zoho CRM's Convert Lead action converts an existing lead to a contact and an account. A Zap can run it when someone who is still a lead signs a QuoteCloud document, after Find Module Entry finds the lead by email.
Can the signed PDF be attached to the deal?
Yes. In the same Zap as Document Signing Complete, QuoteCloud's Generate or Fetch Document PDF Link gets the signed PDF and Zoho CRM's Add Attachment adds it to the deal. The link is short-lived, so it must be used straight away, in the same Zap.
Can Zoho CRM products appear in QuoteCloud?
New ones can. Zoho CRM's New Module Entry on Products runs QuoteCloud's Find or Create Product, adding them to the product library. QuoteCloud can't update an existing product through Zapier, so change prices in QuoteCloud and let Product Changed update Zoho CRM.
Plans and cost
Which QuoteCloud plan do I need?
Essentials or higher: QuoteCloud's Zapier app and API, custom data items and the product library are on Essentials and up, from US$39 per user per month. The approval workflow, used in one variation, is on Business. eSignature is on every plan.
Is there a per-document fee?
Yes, for documents created through Zapier or the API: US$2.00, $1.80 or $1.60 each, the rate falling as volume grows. Zaps that only update Zoho CRM, add tasks, convert leads, attach PDFs or add products don't create documents and carry no QuoteCloud fee.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. QuoteCloud has a free 14-day trial with no credit card required, so you can connect Zoho CRM through Zapier and test your Zaps with test deals before you choose a plan. You can also book a demo.
