Pipedrive to QuoteCloud field map
Every field the Zaps on this site pass, grouped by Zap: which way it travels, where it lands and a sample value from the fictional businesses in the examples.
- 5/5 on G2
- 4.2 on Capterra
- Building QuoteCloud since 2013
QuoteCloud and Pipedrive exchange only the fields your Zaps map, through QuoteCloud's Zapier app on Essentials and up. Deal details such as the ID, title, owner and custom fields go into the document's data items; document events come back to Pipedrive as notes, activities, a won or lost status and the attached signed PDF.

All values are sample data from fictional businesses. Field names on your Zap's test data may differ slightly. A Make scenario maps the same fields.
The one field every return Zap needs
A Zap that starts in QuoteCloud has to find its deal in Pipedrive. When a Zap creates the document, give it the deal's title as its title and put the deal's ID in a data item.
Find Deals then searches on the title, and Get Deal finds the deal by its ID when your trigger's test data shows the data item. Check the test data before you rely on either.

Field types to watch
Dates
Pipedrive date fields want a date; check the signed date's format in the test data before mapping it.
Money
Deal Value wants a number without a currency sign. Decide whether the deal's value is before or after tax.
Single options
A single-option field only takes its own options: use the same wording in the fixed value.
Owners
Pipedrive stores owners as users. Map the owner from Find Deals, or choose a person in the step.

Field map questions
Which Pipedrive details can fill a QuoteCloud document?
Whichever deal fields your Zap maps. Pipedrive's Updated Deal Stage trigger carries the deal's ID, title, owner and custom fields, and Get Person adds the person's name and email. QuoteCloud's Create Document puts them into the template's data items and adds the person as the recipient.
What are data items in QuoteCloud?
Data items are named fields in a QuoteCloud template, such as Site address or Pipedrive deal ID, that fill the same value wherever they appear. QuoteCloud's Create Document can fill them from a Zap. Custom data items are on the Essentials plan and up.
Can a Zap fill the price table from the deal's products?
Not the whole product list. Create Document can add price-table rows from values you map, with a label, note, price, quantity, term, tax and discount, but Pipedrive's Find Deal Products finds one product at a time. A Zap never ticks optional items or chooses content blocks either.
Which fields travel back to Pipedrive?
Whatever QuoteCloud's triggers carry and you map: who viewed or signed and when, the document's title and reference, and the signed PDF from Generate or Fetch Document PDF Link. They land as notes, activities, a won or lost status or an attached file on the deal.
