Getting started with QuoteCloud

Tramada itineraries, enhanced in QuoteCloud

Open itineraries created in Tramada in QuoteCloud, then add the guides, photos and pricing your travellers sign.

QuoteCloud's Tramada page says itineraries created in Tramada can be opened directly in QuoteCloud, where consultants add destination guides, photos, PDF brochures and videos. The connection is arranged with the QuoteCloud team; the itinerary then works like any other, priced per person and signed online.

A fictional booking in Tramada for Nadia & Sam Whitlock, listed in plain lines (flights between Riverside, Queenstown and Christchurch, a hire car and three stays), joined by a dotted bridge labelled "Set up with the QuoteCloud team" to the same trip as a QuoteCloud itinerary from a fictional agency, Saltpine Travel Co. Then the consultant's additions appear on the itinerary one by one: a photo, a destination guide, a PDF brochure and a promotional video.

The Tramada booking, enhanced

Nadia and Sam's flights, car and stays were booked in Tramada. QuoteCloud's Tramada page says itineraries created in Tramada can be opened directly in QuoteCloud, so consultants can add destination guides, photos, PDF brochures and promotional videos.

Tomás adds the Milford Sound day and the Hooker Valley walk as his own segments, the guide PDF on the day it's for, and a gallery of the drive. Then it's priced per person and sent for both to sign.

  • Booked segments labelled "From Tramada"
  • Your own tours and activities typed in beside them
  • Photos, guides, PDF brochures and videos added in QuoteCloud

Connecting Tramada, with our team

QuoteCloud's user guide has no self-serve Tramada add-on: the QuoteCloud team arranges the connection for your provider. A sensible way to run it:

  1. Talk to the QuoteCloud team

Tell us you book in Tramada; the team confirms what your set-up needs and what it costs.

  2. Set up your itinerary template

Your branding, your booking terms and an Itinerary Placeholder: the same template work as any travel team.

  3. Try it on a real booking

Open one Tramada itinerary in QuoteCloud and check what comes across before your consultants rely on it.

  4. Train and go live

Show consultants how to enhance, price and send; see implementation.

What you add once it's in QuoteCloud

The itinerary works like any other: these are the parts your consultants bring.

  • Photos and galleries

The places they're going, in your own photos, beside the days they're for.

  • Destination guides

Write your own, or use Generate Travel Guide on a segment and edit it.

  • PDF brochures and videos

A supplier's brochure or your own guide as a PDF block, and a promotional video beside the itinerary.

  • Tickets and vouchers

Attached to the segment they belong to, so nothing hides at the bottom of an email.

  • A price per person

Room categories as one choice, excursions to tick and a fixed deposit per traveller.

  • Every traveller's signature

Each signs in their own block with no account, and the deposit is paid on signing.

No add-on for your booking system? The Itinerary Sync API

Any booking system that can call an API can push bookings into QuoteCloud. It posts a BookingCI JSON file with the booking reference and status, the agency and consultant codes, the passengers and the itinerary segments: flights, hotels, cars, transfers, tours, rail, cruises, insurance, activities and more.

QuoteCloud checks the file against its schema and returns any errors, and the consultant code has to match a consultant ID in QuoteCloud. Your developers or your system's vendor build that connection. Read about the Itinerary Sync API.

Tramada questions

Does QuoteCloud work with Tramada?

QuoteCloud's Tramada page says it is integrated with the Tramada mid-office and that itineraries created in Tramada can be opened directly in QuoteCloud, where consultants add destination guides, photos, PDF brochures and promotional videos. The connection is set up with the QuoteCloud team.

Is there a Tramada add-on I can install myself?

Not in QuoteCloud's user guide. The guide covers self-serve add-ons for Sabre GDS and Tres CCTE; for Tramada, talk to the QuoteCloud team, who arrange the connection for your provider.

What happens to the itinerary once it's in QuoteCloud?

It works like any other itinerary: add your own segments, attachments, photos and guides, price it per person with options to tick, and send it for every traveller to sign, with the deposit paid on signing through Stripe or PayPal.

Can our own booking system push itineraries instead?

Yes, if it can call an API. The Itinerary Sync API takes a BookingCI JSON file with the booking, the passengers and the itinerary segments, checks it against the schema and returns any errors. Your developers or your system's vendor build that connection.

Do changes go back into Tramada?

Keep bookings, changes and ticketing in Tramada as you do today. QuoteCloud uses the itinerary to build the proposal your travellers read, sign and pay a deposit on.

Which plan do I need?

QuoteCloud's travel itinerary and mid-office features are an opt-in add-on on the Essentials, Business and Enterprise plans. Ask the QuoteCloud team what your Tramada set-up needs and what it costs.
