Getting started with QuoteCloud

From proposal to signed telco order, with the deposit paid

Every signer signs on any device, the once-off charges are paid on the same page, and the signed order can start provisioning.

QuoteCloud turns a telco proposal into a signed order: each signer signs their own signature block with a legally binding, eIDAS-compliant eSignature, optionally after a one-time passcode, and the client can pay a deposit or the once-off charges through Stripe or PayPal. Every completed document carries a certificate and audit trail.

Three pages of a sample multi-site proposal from a fictional provider, Tallwire Communications, taking turns at the front: the price table where the client chose a 36-month term and 4G failover, the signature block signed by Priya Nair of Saltmarsh Freight Co. with a 50% deposit on the once-off charges paid through Stripe, and the activity feed ending with the order sent to provisioning.

  • Certificate and audit trail

Every completed document carries a certificate of authenticity, an audit trail and a unique document ID.

  • Optional passcode

Turn on recipient verification and the signer receives a one-time passcode to enter before they sign.

  • Every signer, their own block

Assign each signer their own signature blocks, in as many places as the order needs, and mark signatures required or optional.

  • No account, any device

Signers draw, type or upload a signature on a phone, tablet or desktop, with no QuoteCloud account needed.

Operations signs. Finance signs. Then it's an order.

Business telco orders often need two people: the operations manager who chose the services and the finance manager who commits to the term. Add a signature block for each, assigned to each signer, and add anyone who only needs a copy as CC.

Switch on the optional one-time passcode when you need to confirm the right person is signing. Until the payment on signing is made, the document shows the amount still due.

  • Primary, To and CC recipients
  • Signature blocks assigned per signer, required or optional
  • Optional one-time passcode before signing
  • Sign in person on a tablet, or send by email

From signed proposal to provisioning

Set it up once; after that, every signed order moves on without retyping.

  1. Connect Stripe or PayPal

In your team's Payment Settings, connect Stripe, or connect PayPal. Each team can connect its own Stripe account.

  2. Place a block for each signer

Add signature blocks for every signer and switch on passcode verification if you need it.

  3. Set the payment on signing

In the document's payment settings, choose a percentage or a fixed amount of the once-off charges.

  4. Send and watch it close

The client picks the term and options, signs and pays. The document moves to Signed and Paid, and the dashboard's Paid filter finds it.

  5. Hand the order on

With Zapier, Make or the QuoteCloud API, a signed proposal can open a provisioning task or a billing record.

Signing and payment questions

Are QuoteCloud eSignatures legally binding for telco orders?

Yes. QuoteCloud eSignatures are legally binding and eIDAS compliant, protected with 256-bit encryption and hosted on AWS. Every completed document includes a certificate of authenticity and an audit trail. eSignatures are included on every plan, from Free to Enterprise. Signers need no QuoteCloud account.

Can more than one person sign the same proposal?

Yes. Add signature blocks for each signer and assign them, so an operations manager and a finance manager each sign their own blocks, in as many places as the document needs. Signatures can be required or optional, and other people can receive a copy as CC recipients.

Can we check that the right person is signing?

Yes. Optional recipient verification sends the signer a one-time passcode, which they enter before they can sign. The completed document then carries the certificate of authenticity and audit trail, so you have a record of who signed and when. Turn it on when the order needs it.

Can the client pay the once-off charges when they sign?

Yes, on Essentials and above. Set the payment on signing as a percentage, such as 50% of the hardware and installation, or as a fixed amount. The client pays through Stripe or PayPal on the same page and the document is marked Paid. A connected payment gateway is required.

Does QuoteCloud collect the monthly charges too?

No. QuoteCloud takes the upfront payment on signing; it does not bill monthly charges, run instalments or send payment reminders. Monthly services are billed from your own billing system, which a signed proposal can feed through Zapier, Make or the QuoteCloud API.

How does a signed order reach provisioning or billing?

Zapier, Make and the QuoteCloud API are included from Essentials, so a signed or paid proposal can create a provisioning task, update a deal or start a billing record. Native CRM and accounting integrations, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Xero and QuickBooks, are on the Business plan.
