Getting started with QuoteCloud

Cybersecurity templates to start your reports and quotes

Real templates from the QuoteCloud library: a cybersecurity proposal, SLA, consulting agreements and an audit proposal, ready for your own blocks.

QuoteCloud's template library includes a Cybersecurity Proposal, a Service-Level Agreement, IT and technical consulting agreements, an Audit Proposal and technology quotes. Start from one, add your report blocks, findings tables and pricing spreadsheet, and save it as your firm's template. One template is converted free during the trial.

Last reviewed by the QuoteCloud team

Four documents from one fictional security firm's template set, Northlatch Security, filed behind index tabs that take turns at the front: a monthly scan report's executive summary with findings by severity, a remediation quote's price lines, an authorisation to test with its rules of engagement, and a managed security proposal's services priced per endpoint and per user on a 24-month term.

From a proposal template to your monthly scan report

Start from the Cybersecurity Proposal template for the cover, your branding and the page structure. Replace its scope of services with an executive summary and a findings table, and save it as your firm's monthly scan report.

Each month's report then starts from that template, by hand or drafted by your AI assistant through QuoteCloud's MCP service. The analyst checks the counts, accepts or rewrites the summary, and sends it beside the remediation quote that prices the fixes.

October vulnerability scan report

Prepared for Tessaly Logistics · 16 October · Scan run Wed 14 Oct

This month's external and internal scan of Tessaly's 212 assets: what changed since September, the findings ranked by severity, and what we recommend fixing first. The remediation quote that goes with it prices those fixes.

Open critical and high findings fell from 14 to 9 since September. The two critical findings both sit at the edge of the network: the remote access gateway is missing a security update, and a database server can be reached from the guest Wi-Fi. We recommend fixing both this week, then the seven high findings, most of which are old software on depot PCs and printers.

From a library template to your firm's own

A typical set is four templates: a report, a quote, an authorisation and a managed agreement.

  1. Pick a template

Start from the closest one in the library, or from your own document.

  2. Brand it

Your logo, colours, fonts and cover photo.

  3. Add your blocks

Summary, findings table, Spreadsheet block, price table, signature.

  4. Lock what stays the same

Terms and standard clauses, locked so they're used but not edited (Business).

  5. Share it with the team

Every analyst and account manager starts from the same template.

Questions about cybersecurity templates

Does QuoteCloud have a cybersecurity proposal template?

Yes. The template library has a Cybersecurity Proposal template with a scope of services, the security work and pricing. There are also service-level, consulting, audit, acceptance and technology quote templates that adapt well to a security firm's documents.

Is there a penetration test or scan report template?

Not in the library today. Build your report template once from their own report, or from the Cybersecurity Proposal template, with a summary section and a findings table. During the trial, one template can be converted for you free.

Can you convert our existing report or quote into a template?

Yes. One template is converted free during the trial on Essentials, Business and Enterprise. Send your most-used document, such as last month's scan report or your remediation quote. More conversions and setup help are available through QuoteCloud's onboarding and professional services.

Can our analysts edit the template's standard clauses?

Only if you let them. Lock the terms, rules of engagement and other standard clauses so they can be used in a document but not edited there. Content locking is on Business.

Can an AI assistant start a report from our template?

With QuoteCloud's MCP service (Essentials and up), your AI assistant can be set up to create a report or quote from your template as a draft for an analyst to review. Nothing is sent without a person.
