Delivery and quality reports clients sign for
The files delivered per language, the checks your team ran, the queries answered, and a signature that confirms the handover.

A delivery report in QuoteCloud is your agency's own handover document: languages, files and steps, the checks your linguists ran in your own tools, the query log and any notes, sent from the same account as the signed quote. The client acknowledges delivery with a signature; nothing in it is a certification by QuoteCloud.

An engineered axonometric drawing of a fictional agency's handover. Three language folders, French, German and Japanese, sit first on the desk and then stand in a delivery tray. To the right stands the delivery and quality report with five check rows, four passed and one flagged, and once acknowledged the client's signature and an acknowledgement ring. An orange route runs from the tray to the report's signature line. A circular detail lists the checks the agency's team ran: terminology, numbers, tags and spelling passed, length limits flagged. Cards below show the report for Kestrel Robotics, LM-D-2614: 3 languages, 9 files, 11,540 source words, delivered Tuesday 3 November, moving from files ready to report sent to acknowledged by Hana Sorensen on Wednesday 4 November, beside the list of checks.

Checks written by your team, flags with their answers
The checks section is your quality record in your words: terminology against the client's glossary, numbers and placeholders, tags, spelling, length limits. Your linguists and project manager run those checks in their own tools; the report says what they found.
A flag isn't hidden. Four German strings ran over the app's 24-character limit, so the report says so and points to the shorter options in the query log, where Hana chose one.
- Passed and flagged checks, with a note on each flag
- Query log: the question, the client's answer, who answered
- Never presented as a certification: it's your record of the work

Why agencies send a delivery report
Most handovers are an email with a zip file. A report the client signs answers the questions that come later.
Proof of what was delivered
Languages, files and dates in one signed document, filed next to the quote it delivers.
Your quality steps on record
Clients, and their auditors, can see which checks were run before delivery and what was flagged.
Queries that don't get lost
Every question and answer in the report, not scattered across inboxes, ready for the next job.
Files with the report
Attach the delivered files and the memory update to the document (Attachments block, Essentials and up).
An acknowledgement, signed
The client signs to confirm delivery; the document carries a certificate of authenticity and an audit trail.
Repeat jobs, faster
Start each report from your template, or from the last one with Zapier's Duplicate or Revise Document action.
Hand over your next job with a report the client signs
Free for 14 days, no credit card required. Send us your current handover and we'll convert one template for you during the trial.
Your assistant drafts it, your quality manager corrects it
With QuoteCloud's MCP service, Larkmoor's AI assistant can be set up to gather the job's files, steps and queries and fill in the delivery report template as a draft. Nothing is sent: the draft waits for a person.
Here it pays off. The draft says the length check passed; Petra, Larkmoor's quality manager, knows four German strings ran over and says so in a comment. Tobias marks it Flagged before he sends. The report the client signs is the reviewed one.
- Drafts only: a person reviews and sends
- Comments and replies on the draft
- The assistant reads only the jobs and templates you allow

- Checks list taken from the job's records; results confirmed with Petra Novak before sending.
- Query log copied from the client's answers; wording left as Hana wrote it.
- Length flag on four German strings reworded to say what was done.
PNPetra NovakThe draft says “length limits passed” for German: four strings were over. Please mark it as flagged.

Delivery report questions
What is a translation delivery report?
It's the agency's own handover document: the languages and files delivered, the steps and linguists, the quality checks the team ran, any flags, the query log and handover notes. Sent from QuoteCloud, the client acknowledges delivery with a signature and it's filed next to the quote.
Does QuoteCloud run QA checks on our translations?
No. QuoteCloud doesn't open, translate or check your files. Your linguists and project managers run their checks in their own tools; the report is where you write up what they found, in your words.
Is a delivery report a certification?
No. It's your record of the work. If a client needs a formal statement of accuracy, issue your own certificate of translation as a separate document signed by your translator. QuoteCloud adds a certificate of authenticity for signatures, not for translations.
Can we attach the translated files to the report?
Yes. The Attachments block, on Essentials and up, holds files in the document, such as the delivered files and a translation memory update, so the client receives them with the report.
Can an AI assistant prepare the report?
With QuoteCloud's MCP service, on Essentials and up, an AI assistant can be set up to gather the job's files, steps and queries and fill in your report template as a draft. A person reviews, corrects and sends it; nothing goes out on its own.
How does the client acknowledge delivery?
They sign the report online, with no account needed. The signed document carries a certificate of authenticity and an audit trail, and you can see when it was opened and signed.
