QuoteCloud connects to Slack through QuoteCloud's Zapier app, on the Essentials plan and up. Each Zap starts from a QuoteCloud event, such as Document Signing Complete or Recipient First Viewed Document, and posts a message you write with Slack's Send Channel Message or Send Direct Message. Make works too, as a bring-your-own setup.

How does QuoteCloud connect to Slack?

Through QuoteCloud's Zapier app, with no code to write. Each Zap starts from a QuoteCloud event, such as Document Signing Complete, and runs a Slack action, such as Send Channel Message or Send Direct Message, with a message you write. Build one Zap for each moment you want posted.

Is there a built-in Slack integration in QuoteCloud?

No. Slack connects through Zapier, with QuoteCloud's Zapier app on Essentials and up, or through Make as a bring-your-own setup with QuoteCloud's API. Nothing posts to Slack until you build and turn on a Zap or a scenario.

Which QuoteCloud plan do I need for Slack?

Essentials or higher: Zapier and API access are on QuoteCloud's Essentials plan and up. Zaps that post to Slack don't create documents, so they carry no per-document fee. Approval nudges need the approval workflow, which is on the Business plan.

Can Slack tell us when a client opens a quote?

Yes. QuoteCloud's Recipient First Viewed Document trigger fires the first time a recipient opens the document. A Zap can send the quote's owner a direct message with Send Direct Message, or post to a channel with Send Channel Message.

Will Slack get too noisy?

Not if you choose the moments. Post only signed deals to a channel, send opens and comments to the owner as direct messages, add a Filter by Zapier step for value, and collect expired quotes into one weekly digest. Leave drafts and status changes in QuoteCloud.
