What the Slack connection costs
A QuoteCloud plan with Zapier access and a Zapier plan for your volume. Posting to Slack creates no documents, so the per-document fee doesn't apply.
- 5/5 on G2

- Building QuoteCloud since 2013
You need QuoteCloud's Essentials plan or higher for its Zapier app, from US$39 per user per month, plus a Zapier plan for your task volume and your own Slack workspace. Zaps that only post to Slack create no documents, so they carry no QuoteCloud per-document fee. Approval nudges need the Business plan, from US$59 per user per month.

Which QuoteCloud plan do the Slack Zaps need?
QuoteCloud plans are priced per user per month. Each plan includes everything below it.
Essentials, US$39 per user per month
The Zapier app and API, and QuoteCloud Payments: wins, opens and comments, payments, the expired digest and noise control.
Business, US$59 per user per month
Adds the approval workflow, which the approval nudges need, plus scheduled document send and the sales forecast.
What carries the per-document fee, and what doesn't
No QuoteCloud fee
Every Zap on this site: they read QuoteCloud events and post to Slack. Win posts, owner messages, payments and the digest create no documents.
Carries the fee
Create Document, run by a Zap or through the API, in any other Zap you build: US$2.00, $1.80 or $1.60 per document by volume.
Building in Make?
Make is bring-your-own, through QuoteCloud's API. If your scenarios will create documents, ask us which fee applies to your volume.
Creating documents through Zapier as well?
Only if other Zaps of yours create documents. Enter how many a month; the three rates are shown side by side because the volume they apply at is set by QuoteCloud.
Formula documents a month × fee per document = QuoteCloud document fee a month

-
Higher-volume rate
US$1.80 per document

-
Highest-volume rate

- Slack Zaps don't add to this number: posting a message doesn't create a document.
- Which rate applies depends on your volume: ask QuoteCloud for the tiers that fit yours. Zapier bills its own plans separately.

Cost questions
How much does the QuoteCloud Slack connection cost?
You need QuoteCloud's Essentials plan or higher for its Zapier app, from US$39 per user per month, plus a Zapier plan for your task volume. Zaps that only post to Slack carry no QuoteCloud fee. There's no separate charge for Slack in QuoteCloud.
Do Slack messages count toward the per-document fee?
No. The per-document fee of US$2.00, $1.80 or $1.60 by volume is for documents created through Zapier or the API. Posting a win, a payment or a direct message creates no documents, though each Zap step uses tasks on your Zapier plan.
Which plan do approval nudges need?
Business, from US$59 per user per month, because the approval workflow is a Business feature. The Zaps that message approvers use QuoteCloud's Zapier app, which is on Essentials and up, so Business covers both.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. QuoteCloud has a free 14-day trial with no credit card required, so you can connect Slack through Zapier and test your Zaps in a private channel before you choose a plan. Book a demo as well if you'd like to talk it through.
