The questions telcos ask first

What is QuoteCloud for telcos and MSPs?

QuoteCloud is quoting, proposal and eSignature software. Telcos, carrier resellers, MSPs and UCaaS providers use it to price connectivity, voice, mobile and managed services from a product catalogue, with monthly and once-off charges on the term the client picks, keep costs and margins internal, approve discounts, and get proposals signed and deposits paid online.

How much does QuoteCloud cost?

Plans are priced in US dollars per user per month: Free at $0 for 2 documents a month, Starter at $14.95, Essentials at $39 and Business at $59. Enterprise has custom pricing per seat or per document. Documents created through the API or Zapier carry a separate per-document fee. See the pricing page for the full comparison.

Which plan does a telco sales team need?

Essentials covers the core of telco quoting: price tables with monthly and once-off charges, the product catalogue, online payments, Zapier, Make and the API. Business adds the approval workflow, content locking, native CRM and accounting integrations, Gantt charts, custom branding and version history. Larger teams needing single sign-on or implementation support look at Enterprise.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Essentials and Business both start with a 14-day free trial, with no credit card required. During the trial QuoteCloud converts one of your existing templates for free on the Essentials, Business and Enterprise plans, and paid plans include a complimentary 45-minute training session for your team.

Do our clients need a QuoteCloud account to sign?

No. Your client opens the proposal from a link, reviews it on any device, changes the options you allow and signs without creating an account or installing anything. eSignatures are included on every plan, including Free, and each completed document carries a certificate of authenticity and an audit trail.

Can we see QuoteCloud with one of our own deals?

Yes. Book a demo and the QuoteCloud team will walk through a deal shaped like yours: sites, services, monthly and once-off charges, the term options, approvals and how the signed order reaches your CRM. Or start the 14-day trial and build the proposal yourself from one of the telco templates.

Pricing models: monthly, once-off and terms

MRC, NRC and the contract term, in one proposal.

  • Can one proposal show monthly recurring and once-off charges?

Yes. Price tables support repeating price items with Term and Monthly Price columns, shown beside one-off rows for hardware, installation and set-up. Group lines by site or by service with subtotals, so a multi-site deal reads clearly for the buyer and their finance team. Price tables are on Essentials and above.

    Multi-site connectivity proposals
  • Can the client choose a 12, 24 or 36-month term?

Yes, if you allow it. Enable Term Editing on a price table and the client can switch between the terms you offer, and the totals update on the page. Use it to show how the monthly price changes with a longer commitment, then let the client choose the term before they sign.

    Multi-site connectivity proposals
  • Can clients change quantities or add options?

Yes. Enable Quantity Editing lets the client change seats, handsets or access points on the lines you choose. Optional rows let them add extras such as 4G failover, and single-choice groups let them pick one mobile plan or support level. Every change recalculates the totals in the proposal.

    Mobile fleet & plan proposals
  • Can we put connectivity, voice and mobile in one quote?

Yes. One proposal can hold fibre and SD-WAN for each site, hosted voice seats, a mobile fleet and managed services, grouped by site or by service with subtotals. Mobile plans can sit in a single-choice group and upgrades in optional rows, and the monthly and once-off totals cover the whole deal.

Try the answer: change the term

This is a sample proposal's price table, working. Switch the contract term, change the hosted voice seats or tick 4G failover, and the monthly recurring charge, the once-off total and the total contract value update.

Price book, catalogue and margins

Carrier plans, devices and services, with your costs kept internal.

  • Can we load our carrier price book into QuoteCloud?

Yes. The product catalogue holds every plan, device and service with a SKU, categories and subcategories, a price and a cost, and recurring costs with a billing term and duration in months. Import products from CSV to load a price book in one go, and mark each product Active, Draft or Inactive.

    Price book, catalogue & margins
  • Can we keep carrier costs and margins hidden from clients?

Yes. Each catalogue product holds a price and a cost, with profit and margin calculated for you. In a price table, cost and margin columns can be hidden from the recipient, so your team sees the commercial position of the deal and the client sees only their price.

    Price book, catalogue & margins
  • What happens when a carrier changes its plans?

Update the product in the catalogue, or import the new list from CSV, and mark the old plan Inactive. The next proposal your team builds from the catalogue then uses the current plan and price, without anyone keeping a spreadsheet of carrier changes.

    Price book, catalogue & margins
  • Who can change prices in the catalogue?

Access is controlled by role. Role permissions decide who can manage catalogue products, so pricing can stay with your product or commercial team while reps add items to their proposals. Custom user roles are available from Essentials, and roles also control access to the content library.

    Discount approvals & deal control

Approvals and deal control

Discounts, locked terms and a record of every change.

  • Can discounts need approval before a quote is sent?

Yes, on the Business plan. An approval workflow can trigger on the discount percentage, the total value, the creator's team or role, the template used or the customer. The document goes In Review, and approvers approve or decline it before it can be sent to the client.

    Discount approvals & deal control
  • Who approves, and what do they see?

Approvers are found from a role you choose, such as sales director or finance, and the rule can require every selected approver to approve. Each approver opens the document with its workflow panel and chooses Approve or Decline, and the activity log records each decision.

    Discount approvals & deal control
  • Can we stop reps changing our terms?

Yes, on the Business plan. Save your terms and service-level wording as Company content in the content library and lock it. Locked blocks can be added to proposals but stay non-editable, and only admins or roles with permission can unlock them.

    Telco templates
  • Is there a record of changes to a proposal?

Yes. Each document has a history timeline of views, edits, status changes and recipient activity, with the user behind each entry. Revisions and version history are on the Business plan, and every signed document has an audit trail and a certificate of authenticity.

Signing, orders and upfront payments

From yes to deposit, on one page.

  • Are QuoteCloud eSignatures legally binding?

Yes. QuoteCloud eSignatures are legally binding and eIDAS compliant, and they are included on every plan, including Free. Signers draw, type or upload a signature on any device, and each completed document includes a certificate of authenticity and an audit trail with a unique document ID.

Sign, order & collect upfront charges
  • Can more than one person sign an order?

Yes. Add several signers to a proposal and assign each one their own signature blocks, in as many places as the document needs, such as the client's operations manager and their finance director. Clients can also sign in person on a tablet or phone at a meeting.

Sign, order & collect upfront charges
  • Can the client pay upfront charges when they sign?

Yes, from the Essentials plan. Set a deposit as a percentage or a fixed amount, for example half of the once-off hardware and installation, and the client pays it straight from the signed proposal through Stripe or PayPal. A payment gateway must be connected, and QuoteCloud does not store card details.

Sign, order & collect upfront charges
  • Can we verify who is signing?

Yes. Turn on recipient verification and the signer receives a one-time passcode they must enter before signing. Documents are protected with 256-bit encryption, and the certificate of authenticity and audit trail stay with the signed proposal, so you can show who signed the order and when.

Sign, order & collect upfront charges

CRM, accounting and provisioning

How the order moves on once it's signed.

  • Does QuoteCloud connect to Salesforce, HubSpot or Dynamics 365?

Yes. Salesforce connects through the Salesforce Sync add-on or Zapier; HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Zoho CRM and monday.com connect through Zapier; Pipedrive connects through Zapier or Make. Zapier, Make and the API are on Essentials, and native CRM and accounting integrations are on Business.

    CRM, provisioning & billing integrations
  • Can signed orders reach our provisioning or billing system?

Yes, through Zapier, Make or the QuoteCloud API, from Essentials. A trigger such as a recipient signing can create a task or record in the system your delivery or billing team uses. There is no built-in carrier, OSS or BSS connector, so the hand-off runs through those tools.

    CRM, provisioning & billing integrations
  • Can a signed proposal create an invoice in Xero or QuickBooks?

Yes. Through Zapier, a signed proposal can create the invoice in Xero or QuickBooks Online with the same line items, quantities and tax, under the matching contact, and a received payment can update the document's status in QuoteCloud. Zapier is included from the Essentials plan.

    CRM, provisioning & billing integrations
  • What does the QuoteCloud API cost?

The GraphQL/REST API, Zapier and Make.com are included from Essentials. Documents created through the API or Zapier carry a monthly per-document fee: US$2.00 each for 1 to 1,000, US$1.80 each for 1,001 to 5,000 and US$1.60 each above 5,000. Contact sales for higher volumes.

    CRM, provisioning & billing integrations

Renewals and re-contracting

Expiry dates, new-term offers and what happens at the end of a term.

  • Does QuoteCloud bill monthly charges or renew contracts automatically?

No. QuoteCloud prices the deal, gets it signed and can take a deposit or upfront payment through Stripe or PayPal. Monthly charges are billed from your own billing system. Each agreement carries an expiry date, and the Expiring Soon filter shows what ends next, so you can send a new-term offer in time.

    Renewals & re-contracting
  • Can we send re-contract offers to many customers at once?

Yes. Bulk send, on Essentials and above, sends one template as personalised copies to a list of recipients, and each copy is tracked like any other document. Bulk sending has volume-based costs. Each copy can offer the new term, with the client choosing 24 or 36 months.

    Renewals & re-contracting
  • Will we know when a customer opens the renewal offer?

Yes. QuoteCloud shows when a client opens a document and how long they spend reading it, with real-time notifications, and the dashboard shows each document's status from Sent to Opened, Signing and Accepted. Account managers can call while the offer is fresh.

Implementation, security and support

Getting your team live, and keeping your data safe.

  • How do we get our telco team started?

Plan four things first: the price book, your main templates, the CRM connection and roles. QuoteCloud converts one of your templates free during the trial, paid plans include a 45-minute training session, and onboarding and professional services add training, template work and integration setup. Enterprise includes implementation support.

QuoteCloud implementation for telco sales teams
  • How long does implementation take?

It depends on the size of your price book, how many templates you need and which systems you connect. A small team can send its first proposal from a telco template during the trial. Larger rollouts with approvals and CRM integration are planned with the QuoteCloud team: book a demo to scope yours.

QuoteCloud implementation for telco sales teams
  • Where is our data hosted, and how is it secured?

QuoteCloud is hosted on Amazon Web Services, with personal information stored on servers in the USA. Documents are protected with 256-bit encryption, QuoteCloud is GDPR compliant, and access is controlled with custom roles and teams. Enterprise adds single sign-on, IP range filtering and advanced security controls.

QuoteCloud implementation for telco sales teams
  • What support do we get?

Essentials and Business include email support during business hours, Monday to Friday, with a standard response within 48 hours. Enterprise includes premium 24x7 support and a dedicated account manager, and premium support with guaranteed SLAs is available as a paid add-on on other plans.

What QuoteCloud doesn't do

QuoteCloud prices, approves, signs and hands on the deal. It sits beside your billing, provisioning and carrier systems rather than replacing them, so it's worth knowing where it stops.

If your process depends on one of these, book a demo and we'll show you how telcos connect QuoteCloud to the system that does it, through Zapier, Make or the API.

  • It doesn't bill monthly charges. Recurring invoices come from your billing system or accounting software.
  • It doesn't renew agreements automatically. Agreements expire on their expiry date, and you send the re-contract offer.
  • It doesn't send payment reminders or run instalment plans. It takes a deposit or upfront payment on signing through Stripe or PayPal.
  • It doesn't connect to carriers, port numbers or rate usage. There are no carrier APIs or usage billing.
  • It doesn't provision services. A signed order can start a task in your provisioning tools through Zapier, Make or the API.
